Cools, soothes and refreshes irritated skin

This multifunctional cooling SOS gel quickly soothes irritated, reddened and sun-stressed skin. BIO aloe vera juice works in synergy with panthenol, allantoin and plant-derived glycerin to help replenish moisture, ease uncomfortable tightness and support the skin barrier’s natural renewal. Its lightweight gel texture allows it to be applied gently, even to sensitive areas. It forms a delicate moisturising film on the skin, helping protect it from dryness and providing a pleasantly cooling sensation. Use the gel after sun exposure or shaving, for insect bites and minor grazes, or wherever skin needs quick soothing. Its gentle gel texture makes it suitable for sensitive children’s skin as well as adult skin. The aromatic blend of lavender, basil and oregano gives it a fresh herbal scent.

What the gel helps with

  • Irritation, sunburn, redness and itching: it instantly cools the skin and helps ease discomfort. BIO aloe vera and allantoin soothe the skin, while panthenol supports hydration and renewal of its natural protective barrier.
  • After insect bites and for minor grazes: it provides a refreshing, cooling sensation and helps soothe itchy, reddened skin. It helps keep the affected area hydrated, protects it from dryness and supports the natural renewal of the skin’s surface layer.
  • Skin in need of quick SOS care: the moisturising blend of aloe vera, panthenol and glycerin helps ease tightness and restore comfort, suppleness and a fresh appearance to the skin.

Who it’s for

The cooling SOS gel with aloe vera is suitable for all skin types, from young and sensitive to mature. It is especially suited to:

  • irritated and reddened skin that needs cooling and soothing,
  • skin after sun exposure, insect bites or minor grazes,
  • skin that needs more moisture,
  • children’s skin and men’s skin.

Key ingredients

  • BIO aloe vera juice: forms the gel’s water base and provides immediate hydrating and soothing care for the skin. In a randomised, double-blind study with 40 volunteers, a gel containing 97.5 % aloe vera significantly reduced UVB-induced skin redness after 48 hours.
  • Panthenol (provitamin B5): binds water in the skin, soothes it and helps maintain its smoothness and natural protective barrier. In a controlled study, products containing 1 % and 5 % panthenol significantly reduced water loss from the skin after 30 days. On skin washed with a surfactant, the effect was seen just two hours after application.
  • Allantoin: a soothing ingredient that helps ease irritation, softens the skin and supports a hydrated, smooth appearance.
  • Glycerin: an effective humectant that attracts and binds water. Together with aloe vera and panthenol, it helps form a lightweight moisturising film on the skin and protect it from feeling dry.
  • Herbal essential oil blend: lavender, basil and oregano give the gel its distinctive fresh, aromatic scent, enhancing the refreshing feel during application.

Texture

A lightweight cooling gel that spreads easily and cools the skin. Scented with lavender, basil and oregano.

How to use

Apply an appropriate amount of gel to the skin and massage in gently. Repeat as needed, even several times a day.

Organic aloe vera juice Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice BIO

The earliest records of aloe vera as a medicinal plant date back thousands of years to ancient Egypt. Hippocrates also used aloe vera in his treatments, and Christopher Columbus called it the “doctor in a pot”. Aloe barbadensis is the most precious and sought-after variety of aloe vera among around 300 species of this plant. Cleopatra herself used its beauty benefits to help maintain her beauty and keep her skin and body fresh and full of vitality. Aloe vera is a source of a wide range of vital elements, including vitamins (A, B1, B2, B6, B12, C, E), minerals (calcium, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, chlorine, as well as manganese, copper, zinc and chromium), amino acids (aloe vera contains as many as eight essential amino acids), and even enzymes, lectins and saponins – active substances that act against viruses, bacteria, fungi and infections. “Cleansing” lignin allows substances to penetrate deep into the skin. Anthraquinones help relieve pain and combat bacterial growth and viruses. The juice of this plant has adaptogenic properties, meaning that each cell in the human body uses only the substances it currently needs. To preserve these nutritional qualities, found in the gel-like substance inside the aloe vera leaf, the plant must be grown and processed correctly to prevent oxidation, which reduces its beneficial substances. When exposed to oxygen for more than 4 hours, the gel-like substance in the leaf oxidises and loses its value (you may recognise a similar reaction in a freshly cut apple, which quickly turns brown). Aloe must be stabilised. Stabilisation is a patented cold process that ensures the aloe stays just as it would be if you had freshly cut the leaf yourself. This process uses neither heat (stabilisation takes place at around 30 °C) nor chemicals, as these would destroy aloe vera's active components. Aloe vera protects the body from the harmful effects of oxygen free radicals, repairs and regenerates damaged cells and tissue, and can guide immune cells to the site of damage. Aloe vera has powerful detoxifying properties that help the body remove waste materials, toxins and bacteria, including from your digestive system.

Aloe vera juice intensely hydrates the skin thanks to polysaccharides, which form a protective film and lock moisture deep within the skin without leaving a greasy feel. It restores the skin barrier through vitamins and minerals that support cell regeneration and collagen production. As an antioxidant, it protects vitamins C, E and beta-carotene from free radicals, slowing skin ageing. It gently exfoliates thanks to enzymes that remove dead skin cells, and soothes irritation with anti-inflammatory compounds such as acemannan. Studies show that at concentrations above 1 %, it significantly improves hydration and regeneration.

Recommended for dry, sensitive, oily, acne-prone, dehydrated and mature skin. Ideal for reactive skin after sun exposure, shaving or treatments, where it soothes redness. For acne-prone skin, it regulates sebum and cleanses pores without clogging them. For mature skin, it supports elasticity and reduces wrinkles.

A study published in the Journal of Dermatological Treatment (2009) showed that aloe vera gel at a concentration of 0,5 % accelerated wound healing by 72 % compared with the control group after 12 days. Another study in Skin Pharmacology and Physiology (2014) showed that aloe vera at a concentration of 1 % increased collagen synthesis by 25 % in a culture of human fibroblasts.

Panthenol – provitamin B5 Panthenol

Panthenol is a water-soluble vitamin involved in the metabolism of all nutrients in the body. Its name comes from Greek and means “found everywhere”. Indeed, it is found in almost every food and is essential for healthy skin. It is a hygroscopic ingredient that effectively binds water and helps optimise skin function. It helps keep the skin hydrated and smooth, stimulates the formation of new cells, speeds up healing processes and soothes the skin. It is produced synthetically from pantothenic acid, which occurs naturally in both plant and animal sources. Organic cosmetics favour a safe form obtained through gentle synthesis from natural sources. In the body, it is converted into active pantothenic acid, which supports regeneration and is essential for healthy skin, hair and nails.

Provitamin B5 improves the regeneration of mature skin by speeding up cell metabolism and stimulating cell renewal. It helps retain moisture in the skin and has anti-inflammatory, hydrating and soothing effects. It protects the skin against sunburn. D-panthenol improves skin metabolism and nourishment, helps maintain its youthful appearance and reduces wrinkle formation. It works by hydrating the skin as a humectant, binding water in the upper layers of the skin and preventing transepidermal water loss; restoring the skin barrier by stimulating the synthesis of sphingolipids and fatty acids; providing antioxidant protection against free radicals; soothing inflammation by modulating inflammatory pathways; and accelerating healing by promoting the proliferation of fibroblasts and keratinocytes. The recommended concentration in cosmetics is 0,5 % to 10 %.

Ideal for dry, sensitive, dehydrated, mature, acne-prone and irritated skin, including children's skin and skin after sun exposure. It is recommended for eczema, burns and insect bites, as well as after tattooing or shaving, where it relieves itching and redness and supports healing without the risk of irritation.

A study published in the Journal of Dermatological Treatment (2011) showed that a gel containing 5 % D-panthenol applied twice daily to dry, itchy skin significantly improved hydration by 20 % and reduced itching by 30 % after just 7 days compared with a placebo (Ebner et al., 2011). Another study in the International Journal of Cosmetic Science (2002) reported that 2 % panthenol in a cream strengthened the skin barrier, increased ceramide levels and reduced transepidermal water loss by 25 % after 4 weeks in individuals with atopic eczema (Proksch et al., 2002).

Glycerin Glycerin

Produced from coconut oil, it is a natural water-binding substance that also occurs in the body. Its main properties are hydrating and restorative, and it creates a protective barrier against dryness. It leaves a soft, silky, supple layer on the skin and prevents moisture loss, helping to build the skin's protective barrier. Its concentration in the finished product is important. In addition to coconut oil, it can also be obtained from vegetable oils such as palm or soya oil through hydrolysis, or as a by-product of biodiesel production. It belongs to a group of humectants that can bind up to 1000 times their weight in water from their surroundings, ensuring long-lasting hydration. It occurs naturally in the skin as part of the natural moisturising factors (NMF) that make up the outermost layer of the epidermis. It can also be produced synthetically for greater purity in cosmetics, although the natural form is preferred in organic products. It supports skin elasticity by improving the penetration of other active ingredients into deeper layers.

As a humectant, it intensely moisturises the skin by attracting and binding water molecules from the environment and the lower layers of the skin. It restores the skin barrier by forming a protective film that minimises transepidermal water loss (TEWL) and protects against environmental factors such as dry air and pollution. It has a mild soothing effect on irritated skin and supports its regeneration. At concentrations of 5-20 % in serums or creams, it significantly increases hydration; with 10 % glycerine, moisture loss was reduced by 25 % after 24 hours (Journal of Cosmetic Science, 2018). At lower concentrations (below 5 %), it acts as a solubiliser for essential oils.

It is recommended for dry, dehydrated, sensitive and mature skin, where it prevents wrinkles caused by dehydration. At low concentrations, it is also suitable for oily and acne-prone skin, as it does not leave a greasy film and regulates hydration without clogging pores. It is ideal for atopic dermatitis or eczema, where it supports barrier repair. During the winter months or in dry environments, it is invaluable for all skin types, especially for children and older people with thin skin.

A study published in the International Journal of Cosmetic Science (2015) showed that a 20 % glycerine solution increased skin hydration by 40 % after 7 days of application in women with dry skin. Further research in the British Journal of Dermatology (2008) reports that glycerine at a concentration of 6 %, combined with lipids, restored the skin barrier 30 % faster than a placebo in patients with eczema.

Xanthan gum Xanthan Gum

Xanthan gum is a fine powder obtained by fermenting sugar. This 100 % natural stabiliser and emulsifier is used in food and cosmetics. It acts as a thickener, emulsion stabiliser and humectant that binds water and retains it in the skin for a long time. It is obtained by fermenting glucose and sucrose. Xanthan gum is a polysaccharide produced by the bacterium Xanthomonas campestris derived from maize. No genetically modified raw materials are used in its production. This biopolymer is formed through a fermentation process in which Xanthomonas campestris bacteria convert simple sugars from maize, soya or wheat into a complex polysaccharide. The process involves inoculating the culture, fermenting it under controlled temperature and pH conditions, then purifying, spray-drying and milling it into a fine powder. Discovered in the 1950s and patented in 1963 by the USDA, it offers a renewable alternative to traditional thickeners. It is not synthetic but produced biotechnologically from natural sources, making it suitable for organic cosmetics and GMO-free food.

Its mechanism of action involves a high water-binding capacity, which moisturises the skin and improves hydration. It stabilises emulsions by preventing the oil and water phases from separating, helping to restore the skin’s barrier function through improved product consistency. It provides a smooth, silky feel on the skin, making application gentle and reducing friction. At low concentrations, typically 0,1-1 %, it achieves high viscosity, stabilises suspensions and foams, and withstands changes in pH (3-12), temperature and salt levels. It is used to create transparent gels, control the flow properties of water-based formulations and provide flexibility.

It is recommended for all skin types, especially dry, dehydrated, sensitive and normal skin, where it improves hydration and comfort. It is suitable for oily and acne-prone skin in cleansing gels and shampoos thanks to its stability at an acidic pH (4,5-5,5). In creams and serums for mature skin, it supports the skin barrier. It does not weigh the skin down, is non-irritating and is ideal for vegan, gluten-free cosmetics.

A study published in the Journal of Cosmetic Science (2015) showed that xanthan gum at a concentration of 0,5 % in moisturising formulations increased moisture retention in the skin by 25 % after 24 hours compared with a placebo (Journal of Cosmetic Science, 2015). Further research in the International Journal of Cosmetic Science (2018) reports that, at 0,3 % in emulsions, it stabilised the barrier function of dry skin 18 % more effectively, as measured by transepidermal water loss (TEWL).

Organic preservative compound Dehydroacetic acid, Benzoic acid, Sorbic acid, Benzyl alcohol

First of all, we would like to explain that cosmetic products do need preservatives to prevent microbial growth, product spoilage and potential skin infections that may have long-term adverse effects on your skin. Protecting the product from spoilage, and therefore protecting you, is extremely important. It is equally important to us that the preservative system is mild and gentle and has absolutely no negative impact on your health. Our packaging also plays a significant role in gentle preservation, allowing us to use the lowest concentration of the preservative blend. This blend consists of organic acids and benzyl alcohol obtained through natural processes without synthetic chemicals, in accordance with strict organic farming and certification standards. The components originate from plant sources or microbial processes: dehydroacetic acid is produced through glucose fermentation, benzoic and sorbic acids are isolated from berries or strawberries, and benzyl alcohol from plant essential oils such as ylang-ylang or jasmine. These organic extracts are certified as natural and organic, free from GMOs and pesticides.

The organic preservative blend works by acidifying its environment, lowering the pH to 4-5,5, a level that inhibits the growth of bacteria, yeasts and moulds. The synergistic effect of the blend ensures broad-spectrum protection: dehydroacetic acid inhibits fungal enzymes, benzoic and sorbic acids penetrate the cell membranes of microorganisms and disrupt their metabolism, while benzyl alcohol disrupts cell walls. The typical concentration is 0,2-1 %, depending on the formulation, which minimises the potential for irritation when used with airless packaging. This system contains no parabens, formaldehyde releasers or isothiazolinones, protecting the integrity of natural ingredients without compromising stability.

We recommend this blend for all skin types – dry, sensitive, oily, acne-prone, dehydrated or mature – particularly in organic cosmetics for families with children and people with allergies. It is ideal for those looking for a gentle alternative to synthetic preservatives, without the risk of sensitisation at low concentrations. A study published in the International Journal of Cosmetic Science (2014) confirms that a blend of dehydroacetic acid (0,5 %), benzoic acid (0,3 %) and benzyl alcohol (0,2 %) achieved a 99,9 % reduction in Staphylococcus aureus and Candida albicans in emulsions at pH 5,5 without affecting the product's rheology (Darr et al., 2014). Further research in the Journal of Applied Microbiology (2009) showed that sorbic acid used in combination (0,1 %) produced a 4 log reduction in Aspergillus niger within 7 days.

Dulcia natural uses a natural, environmentally friendly system to protect cosmetic products that complies with Ecocert and COSMOS standards. It has been developed to reduce the risk of bacterial contamination. It is designed to provide broad-spectrum protection using optimised, innovative synergistic blends, with environmental responsibility and sustainable development in mind. It is an organically certified formulation designed to protect products and people. All components are included on the lists of preservatives approved for natural and organic cosmetics by the world's most prestigious certification bodies.

Common lavender Lavandula Angustifolia Oil

Lavender is an aromatic medicinal plant. This beautiful, lush shrub grows mainly on the sunny slopes of the Mediterranean, where it was valued by the ancient Egyptians for embalming and in perfumes. Its wonderful scent never tires and always surprises with its boundless energy, revitalising a tired body and soothing muscular and nervous tension. Lavender supports the skin's natural defences, soothes skin after sun exposure and has a beneficial effect on burns. Lavender oil has anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties and is used to treat eczema and fungal infections. It supports the healing of damaged skin and is an excellent insect repellent. Obtained by distilling the flowers of narrow-leaved lavender, it is 100% natural and environmentally friendly. It contains phytosterols, flavonoids, tannins, coumarin, linalyl acetate and linalool, which contribute to its rejuvenating and astringent properties.

Lavender oil soothes irritated skin, has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties, regenerates skin and speeds up wound healing. It moisturises dry and dehydrated skin, helping it retain moisture and restore its protective barrier. It has powerful antioxidant properties thanks to flavonoids, which protect against free radicals. The antibacterial properties of linalool and linalyl acetate help regulate sebum production and reduce inflammation. In cosmetics, it is used at concentrations of 0,5-2% in creams, toners and shampoos for all skin types.

Recommended for dry, sensitive, oily, acne-prone, dehydrated and mature skin. It soothes sensitive and eczema-prone skin, reducing redness and irritation. For oily and acne-prone skin, it regulates sebum and fights bacteria. For mature skin, it slows ageing and supports elasticity. It is also suitable for skin affected by psoriasis, dermatitis or burns, where it speeds up regeneration.

A study demonstrated that lavender oil from Lavandula angustifolia and linalyl acetate have a strong inhibitory effect on inflammation in atopic dermatitis and psoriasis (Journal of Ethnopharmacology, research data cited in analyses). Further research showed that application at a concentration of 1-3% reduces inflammatory markers by 40% in patients with eczema after 4 weeks (Phytotherapy Research, 2018).

It helps relax stiff muscles after sport or physical exertion. Lavender drives away “impure thoughts” and strengthens the ego. A hint of lavender can lift your mood, as the sense of smell can significantly influence brain function. It eases nervous tension and is excellent for insomnia and headaches.

Allantoin Allantoin

Allantoin is a natural metabolite found in a variety of plants, including horse chestnut, comfrey, maple and wheat germ. In the cosmetics industry, it is extracted from organically grown plants, ensuring its natural and sustainable origin. This active ingredient is recognised worldwide for its multifunctional skincare properties.

Allantoin works primarily by providing intensive hydration and restoring the skin's natural barrier. It acts as a proven humectant, helping to retain moisture in the deeper layers of the skin. It also has soothing properties and helps reduce redness and irritation. Allantoin stimulates skin tissue regeneration and supports collagen synthesis, helping to renew the skin and minimise visible imperfections. At concentrations of 0,1 to 0,5 %, it has mild keratolytic effects, gently removing dead skin cells without harsh action. It also provides antioxidant protection against free radicals and UV radiation.

Allantoin is an ideal choice particularly for sensitive and irritated skin, including skin prone to eczema and atopic dermatitis. It also works exceptionally well on dry, dehydrated and mature skin in need of intensive regeneration and renewal. Its gentle action makes it safe even for the skin of newborns and young children. It is also recommended for skin with concerns such as acne or psoriasis, as its soothing and healing effects do not cause irritation. It shows no signs of toxicity or potential to cause allergic reactions.

Scientific research confirms allantoin's effectiveness in practice. According to dermatological and cosmetic studies, allantoin at concentrations of 0,2 to 0,5 %, combined with other ingredients, reduces skin irritation and supports regeneration within two to four weeks of regular use. Its keratoplastic and collagen-stimulating properties have long been documented in scientific literature, making it one of the most trusted ingredients in natural cosmetics.

Oregano essential oil Origanum Vulgare Oil

Oregano oil is cold-pressed from oregano, which is also used as a dried culinary herb. This highly aromatic plant grows naturally in the Mediterranean. Its oil was also widely used in traditional healing by earlier generations. It is primarily associated with fighting fungal infections. It is one of the most powerful antibiotics nature has to offer. It contains several beneficial components, including essential oils (carvacrol, thymol, borneol), rosmarinic acid, terpenoids, sterols, vitamins A, C, flavonoids and chlorophyll. This organic extract from wild-growing plants is obtained by steam distillation or cold pressing, preserving its natural potency without chemical additives.

It is an effective antioxidant, protecting cells against free radicals. One of its active components, carvacrol, is an exceptionally powerful antimicrobial substance capable of killing a range of harmful microorganisms, including bacteria and, in particular, fungi that cause disease. It has strong antiseptic and antifungal properties. It can stimulate the immune system and protect the body against toxins. It also helps prevent tissue damage and promotes the healing of skin wounds. Its mechanism of action relies on powerful antimicrobial properties that destroy the cell walls of pathogens, alongside antioxidant activity that protects against oxidative stress. It soothes irritated skin and supports skin barrier repair. In cosmetics, it is used at low concentrations of 0,1-1 % due to its high potency, to avoid irritation.

We particularly recommend it for oily, acne-prone and problem skin susceptible to fungal and bacterial infections, as well as sensitive skin with eczema or wounds. It is suitable for adults with skin infections where synthetic preservatives prove ineffective. We do not recommend it for dry or very sensitive skin without a patch test first, or for children and pregnant women due to its potential toxicity. Ideal for mature skin affected by oxidative damage.

A study published in the Journal of Applied Microbiology (2000) demonstrated that carvacrol from oregano oil at a concentration of 0,03 % inhibits the growth of 25 bacterial strains, including Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli, by more than 99,9 % within 60 minutes. Further research in Molecules (2018) showed that oregano oil at a concentration of 1 % reduces the growth of Candida albicans, a common fungus found on the skin, by 95 % after 24 hours. These findings confirm its exceptional effectiveness against microorganisms in cosmetics.

Basil essential oil Ocimum Basilicum Herb Oil

Basil is a perennial that grows in warm climates, or is grown as an annual because it cannot tolerate frost. Basil originally comes from Asia, but is now widespread in Europe and other regions. The oil itself is produced from the plant's leaves by steam distillation. It has a pleasant, aromatic scent reminiscent of aniseed, star anise or fennel. Originally native to parts of Asia and Africa, where it was considered a sacred plant, it gradually spread to Europe in the 16th century and later to America. The essential oil is obtained exclusively from fresh sweet basil (Ocimum basilicum) leaves by steam distillation, which preserves its natural bioactive compounds such as eugenol, linalool and flavonoids. It is not produced synthetically, and certified organic extracts from organically grown plants are also available, ensuring greater purity without pesticides.

Basil essential oil acts as a powerful antioxidant thanks to its flavonoids and eugenol, which neutralise free radicals and protect the skin against oxidative stress. It has anti-inflammatory effects by blocking the enzymes responsible for inflammation, soothes irritated skin and supports wound healing. Its antibacterial and antiseptic properties fight microorganisms, helping to prevent acne and clogged pores. It stimulates circulation in the skin, refreshes and cools it, provides hydration and restores the skin barrier. In cosmetics, it is recommended at concentrations of 0,5-3 % in blends, for example 3 drops per 100 ml of water for a toner.

It is particularly recommended for oily, acne-prone and blemish-prone skin with clogged pores, dry and dehydrated skin in need of hydration, sensitive and irritated skin in need of soothing, and mature skin in need of antioxidant protection against ageing. It is suitable for those looking for a natural way to cleanse, tone and brighten the skin, including tackling puffiness and dark circles under the eyes. It is not recommended for pregnant women or people with epilepsy due to its high eugenol content.

A study published in the Journal of Medicinal Food (2012) demonstrated that basil extract at a concentration of 1 % inhibits the growth of Staphylococcus aureus by 92 % and Candida albicans by 85 % after 24 hours, confirming its strong antimicrobial effects against skin infections. Further research in Phytotherapy Research (2005) showed that eugenol from basil oil at a concentration of 0,5 % reduces the expression of the pro-inflammatory cytokines IL-6 and TNF-α by 40-60 % in keratinocyte cell cultures, supporting its anti-inflammatory action on the skin.

Small packaging with maximum protection

When choosing packaging for LucyLab samples, we weren’t looking for a smaller version of the standard pack. We needed packaging that could keep a small amount of cosmetics in the best possible condition until it was opened. That’s why we use single-use cosmetic sachets with a volume of 2–5 ml, made from high-barrier, three-layer PET / ALU / PE laminate.

Three layers, each with its own purpose

The packaging consists of 12 µm PET / 9 µm aluminium foil / 75 µm PE, with a surface weight of approximately 114 g/m². PET gives the pack strength and dimensional stability, PE forms a flexible inner layer suitable for reliable heat sealing, and the aluminium foil provides the key barrier. It blocks light and UV radiation and effectively protects the contents from oxygen and moisture. For sensitive cosmetic formulations, the sachet is a small protective vault.

One dose. One opening.

Each cosmetic sachet is hermetically sealed and intended for single use. The product remains untouched by fingers and the outside environment until opened. Once open, simply squeeze the required amount directly into your palm or onto your skin. The result is easy, clean and hygienic application without a dispenser or additional components.

The ideal way to try LucyLab

The 2–5 ml volume is practical as a sample of face cream, serum or another cosmetic product. The sachet is exceptionally light and flat and takes up very little space, so you can keep it in your handbag, wash bag or hand luggage.

Minimum material, maximum performance

Multi-layer PET/ALU/PE laminate provides exceptional protection while keeping packaging weight very low. As the individual layers are firmly bonded together, this type of laminate cannot currently be easily recycled in most standard recycling systems. Its environmental benefit lies mainly in its efficient use of materials and low weight. PET, aluminium and PE are among the materials also used in packaging assessed according to COSMOS and ECOCERT principles; COSMOS also takes multi-layer materials and free sample packaging into particular consideration.

LucyLab – protecting the formula until first opening

The packaging is manufactured at facilities certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001 and ISO 14064-1. For LucyLab, however, what matters most is the result: a premium look, high barrier protection, hygienic single-use application and a practical format that lets you experience the product exactly as we created it.

Hello, I’d like to ask whether this little gel could help with the tiny warts that have appeared on my nose. Thank you.

Simona Translated from SK

Hello dear Simonka,

Thank you for your question.

As for the tiny “warts” on your nose, these are often small skin growths known medically as fibromas (soft skin growths) or small papillomas. On the neck, they are also colloquially known as “skin tags”.

It’s definitely worth trying Aloe Vera Gel with herbs. I can’t guarantee the results 100%, as each type of skin growth reacts differently, but we’ve found that with regular, long-term use, this gel can help with small fibromas in particular – gradually drying them out and softening them.

The mechanism may be promising, particularly thanks to:
• aloe vera’s regenerative properties
• the gentle anti-inflammatory effects of herbal extracts
• support for skin renewal and natural regeneration

I recommend applying the gel to thoroughly cleansed skin, ideally directly to the affected area, every evening.

If you’d like to boost the effect further, you could also cautiously introduce gentle exfoliation – for example, night-time face essence with 5% glycolic acid. It supports the renewal of the skin’s surface layers and may help with natural regeneration. Of course, apply it very precisely and monitor how your skin reacts.

I don’t have any specific experience with this exact type of growth on the nose, but combining the stimulating effect of skin micro-renewal with the gel’s regenerative properties may be effective.

If you decide to try this kind of “treatment”, we’d be very grateful for your feedback – it could help other customers too ????

And if the growths get bigger or change colour or shape, I’d definitely recommend showing them to a dermatologist.

We’re here for you, so please feel free to get in touch any time.

With love,

Lucka

• podpore obnovy a prirodzenej regenerácie kože

Odporúčam nanášať gél vždy na dôkladne vyčistenú pleť, ideálne lokálne priamo na dané miesto, pravidelne každý večer.

Ak by ste chceli efekt ešte podporiť, môžete veľmi opatrne zaradiť aj jemnú exfoliáciu – napríklad nočnú pleťovú esenciu s 5 % kyselinou glykolovou. Tá podporuje obnovu povrchových vrstiev kože a môže napomôcť prirodzenej regenerácii. Samozrejme, aplikovať veľmi cielene a sledovať reakciu pleti.

Lucka

Hello, is the gel also suitable for the face? Or, if you could advise me, I don’t know what’s happening to me – I’m still using the same cosmetics, nothing harsh, but lately, especially in the morning, I get an itch behind my ears, around my jawbones and towards my ears. I don’t know what to put on it to help. It’s not red and there’s no rash there either. Thank you very much.

Resp. Keby ste mi vedeli poradit, neviem čo sa mi to deje - používam furt rovnakú kozmetiku nič agresívneho , ale poslednú dobu ma hlavne ráno svrbí akoby za usami, celustne kosti a takto vlastne smerom k tým usiam. Neviem čo si tam dat aby to pomohlo , začervenané to nemám ani vyrážky tam niesu. Ďakujem pekne

Have a lovely day,

yes, the gel is also suitable for use on the face; it works on injured areas of the skin. Its light consistency makes it easy to apply gently and carefully to affected skin. The pain eases almost immediately because, when applied to an injured area, the gel has a mild anaesthetic effect and relieves itching and swelling, while improving circulation even in the deepest layers of the skin. At the site of the injury, it increases blood flow to the affected area and stimulates fibroblasts (skin cells responsible for wound healing).

The skin remains soothed, the allergic reaction is reduced and, with repeated use, wounds heal much faster.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to get in touch.

Hello, can aloe gel be used instead of body cream? I’d like to moisturise my skin after a shower, but creams don’t suit me, so I’m looking for something that absorbs straight away.

Hello,

you can certainly use the gel too, yes. You could also try our body scrub twice a week. Once you’ve applied it, you don’t need to use a cream afterwards, as it leaves your skin beautifully soft. https://www.dulcia.sk/pletove-masky-a-pilingy/telovy-piling-s-magneziovou-solou.html
Or our shower cream is fantastic too - https://www.dulcia.sk/starostlivost-o-telo/hodvabny-sprchovy-krem.html
Thank you for your question. If you have any others, we’re here for you. Have a lovely day

Hello, do you no longer stock the serum with prebiotics, please? I’d like to ask your advice. My daughter, 16, had problem-free skin until she took Ivermectine. It caused her to develop skin dermatitis, which we struggled with for a long time. Eventually her skin calmed down, but the skin on her face was weakened and, at the swimming pool, she “caught” streptococcus in this sensitive skin. Since then, her skin has been very sensitive, she gets pus-filled spots on her face and brown patches are left behind. Could you please advise us on a skincare routine? It’s as if every infection and problem “comes out” in these areas. Thank you in advance and all the best, Martina

Vedeli by ste nám, prosím, poradiť starostilvosť? Vopred ďakujem a prajem všetko dobré, Martina

A very lovely good day to you,

Thank you for your little message; we really appreciate your trust.
Based on what you’ve told me, it’s very important to choose the right products for caring for this type of skin. I’ll write everything out step by step so you have it all together in one place, and you can choose whatever appeals to you most.

I’ll summarise and write out the steps for cleansing your skin, which is the foundation of skincare.
Cleansing your skin is essential to looking after it. It’s important to cleanse it morning and evening before applying your creams. Our skin collects dust, sweat and make-up, so it needs to breathe again. Natural cleansing removes dry, flaky patches and can also help remove blackheads. It’s best to cleanse your skin without soap or alcohol to avoid drying it out too much, as this can actually encourage the skin to produce more oil. Once cleansed, your skin can absorb all the wonderful nourishing ingredients in the creams you apply afterwards. I don’t recommend cleansing your skin with micellar water. These products strip everything from the skin, including its natural protective layer, because of their surfactant content. Surfactants are substances from the saponin group, found, for example, in cleaning products. Once cleansed, your skin can absorb all the wonderful nourishing ingredients in the creams you apply afterwards. To remove make-up, I recommend the NOURISHING CLEANSING AND MAKE-UP REMOVING EMULSION. This two-phase facial make-up remover removes all impurities and oil trapped in the pores from the skin’s surface. It removes make-up easily. It’s suitable for all skin types, including highly sensitive and acne-prone skin. It’s gentle and causes no irritation. It also acts as an emollient and helps prevent dehydration. Then gently wash your face and massage it with the Mydlové orechy facial cleansing gel. This cleansing gel with soap nuts is a light, caring gel. It cleanses the skin effectively yet gently, while providing intensive care and hydration. It cleanses the skin deep down, removing impurities, make-up and oil without drying it out. The cleansing gel unclogs pores, softens and soothes the skin, and calms inflammation and irritation. Apply it to dry skin with dry hands, massage it in, then rinse with water. Tone your skin with the Rose Water.

Once your skin is cleansed, I recommend applying a drop or two of PLUS Rosacea and Soothing. This gentle, mild yet effective product is designed to soothe reactive, hypersensitive skin, both immediately and over the long term. It helps calm inflammation, reduce redness and soothe skin affected by rosacea, couperose and extreme sensitivity. Thanks to its fermented probiotic culture, which supports the growth of beneficial bacteria, it helps speed up the restoration of the microbiome. You can apply a drop or two to cleansed skin every morning or evening. It also helps reduce the appearance of dilated capillaries in the skin. Try using it as needed: some people find it works best as a first-aid product just twice a week, while others can use it more often. You’ll see how well it works for you.

The skin has an exceptional ability to regenerate itself. However, it is constantly exposed to various external and internal influences. This makes it more prone to irritation, infections and inflammatory conditions such as rosacea, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis and acne. Lifestyle affects the microflora and can cause imbalances that lead to a lower pH and increased inflammation. Restoring the balance of the skin microbiome plays an important role in achieving beautiful, even, healthy skin and supporting its immunity. The skin’s main function is to create a protective barrier against an aggressive environment. Its outer layer acts as a waterproof cover, protecting it from unwanted substances and bacteria. Current scientific studies indicate that the skin barrier is covered with a layer of microorganisms. Their number exceeds the number of skin cells by at least a ratio of 1:10, which means that 90% of the skin is made up of this living microflora. As part of your skincare, we’ll focus on restoring your skin’s natural microbiome and helping it function properly.

Deep care:
Based on what you’ve described, I strongly recommend adding a gentle exfoliant and face mask to your routine once every 7 days. Even for sensitive skin, we recommend deep care using enzymes, which help remove the outer, hardened layer of skin. I recommend the GENTLE-ACTION ENZYMATIC PEEL. It uses enzymes to dissolve the bonds between dead skin cells, removing them gently and extremely effectively. New cells come to the surface, giving the skin a beautiful, radiant appearance. With regular use, the skin becomes more resilient and healthier, subsequent skincare is more effective and the benefits of the products are more intense. It reduces skin roughness and the formation of comedones. The peel contains soothing ingredients and probiotics to support a healthy microbial balance. Its gentle texture is also suitable for very sensitive, irritated and inflamed skin. An enzymatic peel offers the gentlest method of exfoliation; it doesn’t damage or irritate the skin. It gently cares for sensitive and acne-prone skin without damaging the surface. A peel is a cosmetic treatment designed to restore the skin’s radiance and vitality. After a while, the skin renews itself. It creates new cells that move through the layers of skin to the surface, where they harden. Dead, hardened, old cells make the skin look tired, grey and dull. In just “a minute”, a peel brings the skin back to life. It also boosts circulation, improving the skin’s condition and colour. A peel cleans and opens the pores. That’s why it’s a good idea to apply a face mask or your favourite Dulcia natural product afterwards. The active ingredients can reach the deeper layers more quickly and nourish the skin thoroughly. You can mix the peel with the Mydlové orechy gel in a 1:1 ratio to make it gentler, or avoid the areas affected by rosacea.

After exfoliating, apply the SOOTHING AND NOURISHING MASK - MICRO-BIO COMPLEX. This gentle, creamy mask nourishes and soothes irritated skin. It contains a complex of nourishing and microbiotic cultures to help restore the skin’s microflora. It improves skin immunity, supports regeneration, reduces redness and calms sensitivity. It maintains the necessary level of hydration and stimulates the skin’s metabolism. After use, the skin feels soft and soothed. It contains no irritating ingredients or essential oils. Face masks have an intensive nourishing and cleansing effect. They deeply cleanse the pores, replenish essential moisture and reduce the appearance of fine lines. Regular use of face masks is an essential part of a complete skincare routine. Choosing the right mask guarantees an immediate, visible effect. Face masks improve circulation and remove the dead outer layer of skin. They cause the cells in the horny layer to swell and smooth out unevenness on the skin’s surface. They regulate the activity of the sebaceous and sweat glands and tighten pores. They hydrate and calm inflammation. They reduce the formation of wrinkles and have a relaxing effect :-)

As for creams, the Collagen Hydrating Serum has worked well too, followed by an SPF cream. As the final step in your daytime routine, I strongly recommend a Protective Sun Cream with SPF to protect us from the sun’s UVA and UVB rays, which are responsible for 90% of skin ageing and can also contribute to inflammation in the skin. I recommend protecting your skin every day, all year round.
Please add a note to your order saying that, following your consultation with our advice team, you’d like us to include a Microbio Serum. We’ll be happy to add it to your parcel free of charge. You can use it morning and evening.
I also strongly recommend the Zinc Ointment for acne-prone areas, whenever needed.

If you don’t mind, I’d also like to mention a few tips that can help with this type of skin..
Drinking enough water regularly makes a big difference. We recommend keeping a bottle of fresh water close by and staying hydrated. The skin is the body’s largest store of water, and when the body needs water somewhere, it always takes it from the skin. That’s why keeping hydrated from within can make such a lovely difference to your skin too.
You could keep an eye on things: sometimes food can be a trigger (a reaction to spicy or heavily seasoned food, alcohol or coffee). I’d also avoid spending time in a sauna or in direct sunlight. Stress can sometimes be a trigger too..
Regular visits to a beautician are important for this type of skin too. If you’re in Bratislava, I also have my own salon here, where I work with skin types like yours. Many of my customers come to me with this very problem, and of course I work with Dulcia :) https://www.danielispaskin.sk/  Or find a trusted beautician near you.

Please try the full routine I’ve recommended, and I’m sure your skin will improve. It will certainly be important to establish a gentle cleansing routine and find a suitable face cream. I’m sure we’ll work together to get your skin functioning beautifully again, gradually nourish it and help it bloom once more. If you’d like, we also offer samples to try before buying full-size products: https://www.dulcia.sk/vzorky/balicek-vzoriek.html

Of course, we’re here for you if you have any questions or would like a consultation.
Have a lovely day ❤️
Kind regards,

Ľahko odstraňuje make-up. Čistí pokožku do hĺbky od nečistôt, make upu a mazu, bez toho aby ju vysušoval. Čistiaci gél uvoľňuje póry, pokožku zvláčni, upokojí a zjemňuje zápaly a podráždenia.

Pomáha tlmiť zápalové procesy, znižuje začervenanie a upokojuje pokožku postihnutú rosaceou, kuperózou a extrémnou precitlivelosťou.

Odporúčam ENZYMATICKÝ PÍLING SO ŠETRNÝM ÚČINKOM. Pomocou enzýmov rozpúšťa väzby medzi odumretými bunkami, čím ich šetrne a mimoriadne účinne odstraňuje. Navyše ju prekrví zlepší jej stav i farbu. Píling vyčistí a otvorí póry.

Zlepšuje kožnú imunitu, podporuje regeneráciu, zmierňuje začervenanie a potláča citlivosť. Hĺbkovo čistia póry, dopĺňajú potrebnú vlhkosť a znižujú tvorbu jemných línií vrások. Pravidelná aplikácia pleťových masiek je neodmysliteľnou súčasťou kompletnej starostlivosti o pleť. Správna voľba masky zaručí okamžitý a viditeľný efekt. Pleťové masky zlepšujú prekrvenie, odstraňujú odumretú vrstvu pokožky. Spôsobujú napučanie buniek rohovej vrstvy, korigujú nerovnosti kožného povrchu. Upravujú činnosť mazových a potných žliaz, sťahujú póry. Hydratujú a zastavujú zápaly. Redukujú tvorbu vrások a majú relaxačný účinok :-)

Hello, I'd like to ask what you would recommend for sunburnt skin: aloe vera gel with herbs or after-sun balm with carrot oil? Thank you, Henrieta

Henrieta Translated from SK

A very good day to you,

You can use that aloe vera gel, or even both, if you like. Apply the balm once the initial sunburn has passed, to hydrate the skin. Another thought: if the affected area is very large, the soothing mask with the microbiome complex could also be used as first aid.
Thank you for your question, and I hope you have a lovely day
Best wishes
