What is MyLab personalisation?

Your skin changes with age, the season, your lifestyle, and whatever it is going through right now. That is why it may not always need the same care.

MyLab lets you tailor a selected LucyLab product to what your skin needs right now. The base is still a complete product, to which you add a suitable active ingredient – a booster / SOS serum. So you do not have to change your whole routine every time your skin changes. You only need to give a targeted boost to the product you already want to use.

How does MyLab work?

  1. Choose a product First, you choose what your skin needs and then the product you want to tailor – for example, a cleansing product, a serum, a cream, or eye area care.
  2. We recommend a suitable active ingredient for you Based on your choice and the specific product, MyLab recommends a booster / SOS serum that complements its effect according to the current needs of your skin. It also sets the recommended dosage for you.
  3. Add it to the product You choose the pack size of the active ingredient and buy it together with the product. Each time you use it, you take your usual dose of the product and add the recommended number of drops of the booster / SOS serum to it.
  4. And the result? A product tailored to the current needs of your skin.

If the needs of your skin change over time, you can simply go through MyLab again and choose a new focus.

MyLab rules

  • Do not add the booster / SOS serum to the whole pack of the product. Personalisation always happens just before use – you add the active ingredient to one dose of the product only.
  • Stick to the number of drops that MyLab recommends. More active ingredient does not mean a better result.
  • Use only the booster / SOS serum that MyLab recommends for the specific product.
  • You can also personalise several products in your routine – for example, cleansing together with a serum or cream, or the eye area on its own. But personalise each product according to the recommendation made specifically for it.
  • Do not combine different boosters / SOS serums in one dose unless MyLab explicitly recommends it for the specific product.

MyLab helps you tailor your skincare without an unnecessarily complicated routine – simply according to what your skin needs right now.

Not sure what to personalise?

Face serum

Choose it if you want to address your concern in the most targeted way. A serum is a light step that stays on the skin and is naturally suited to active ingredients.
Example: Are pigment spots or dehydration bothering you, and do you want to focus on this concern as much as possible? Personalise a serum.

Face cream

Choose it if you want to address a specific concern and, at the same time, hydrate and nourish your skin and support its comfort.
Example: Is your skin dehydrated but also dry, tight, or in need of more nourishment? A personalised cream combines a targeted active ingredient with everyday skincare.

Facial cleansing

Choose it if you want to include the active ingredient in the very first step of your routine, or if you do not want to add another product that stays on the skin.
Example: Do you have problem skin, oiliness, or clogged pores? You can personalise a cleansing product with salicylic acid, for example, and so give your skin targeted support while you cleanse. But you can also address the same concern with a serum or cream if you want the active ingredient to stay on your skin longer.

Eye area

Choose it when the need you want to address mainly concerns the skin around your eyes.
Example: Are dryness, fine lines, or a tired look around the eyes bothering you? Personalise a product made specifically for this sensitive area.
