The silky feel of clean, fresh and hydrated skin
This luxurious body shower oil transforms everyday washing into a sensory ritual. It features a silky-light oil emollient, complemented by a five-component cleansing complex without sulphate surfactants. On contact with water, the oil transforms into a gentle emulsion that cleanses the skin effectively without leaving it feeling uncomfortably dry or tight. BIO apricot and almond oils, together with glycerin and natural vitamin E, help the skin retain moisture, softness and suppleness. After rinsing, it feels exceptionally soft, smooth and comfortably cared for, without a greasy film. The ritual is completed by a sophisticated aromatic fragrance blend. The fresh sweetness of mandarin and mint is softened by lavender and exotic ylang-ylang, while rosemary adds an elegant herbal depth. Each shower becomes a moment of luxury to enjoy every day.
What the shower oil helps with
- Effective, gentle cleansing: gently cleanses without disrupting the skin’s natural barrier. Cleansing is provided by a mild surfactant that produces only a light lather on contact with water, leaving skin clean, soft and supple.
- Skin lacking nourishment and suppleness: intensely softens and smooths the skin, leaving it soft and nourished. BIO apricot oil softens the skin, while BIO almond oil moisturises and nourishes it.
- Deep hydration: supports skin hydration and helps it retain moisture even after drying. Glycerin binds water, while BIO almond and apricot oils replenish protective lipids.
- A luxurious aromatherapy experience: the layered fragrance of mandarin, mint, lavender, ylang-ylang and rosemary envelops the body in a fresh citrus and herbal blend, transforming your routine into a luxurious daily wellness ritual.
Who it is for
This luxurious body shower oil is suitable for all skin types. It is especially suitable for:
- sensitive skin in need of gentle cleansing and nourishment in one step,
- skin prone to tightness and dryness that needs gentle cleansing and replenishment of lipids,
- anyone looking to combine intense hydration with nourishing care,
- a luxurious wellness experience in the comfort of your own home.
Key ingredients
- Nourishing BIO oil complex: precious BIO apricot and almond oils intensely soften and condition the skin, helping it retain its natural suppleness. In a lightweight oil base, they create a silky treatment that cares for the skin as you shower, leaving it deeply nourished after rinsing.
- Five-component cleansing complex: this carefully considered combination gently loosens impurities. Free from alkyl sulphates, the complex creates a delicate lather suited to luxurious shower oils. This ingredient can be certified to the COSMOS standard.
- Glycerin: a humectant naturally present in the skin that binds water and helps maintain a supple feel. In a double-blind study of 24 people with atopic dermatitis, it improved hydration and barrier function after four weeks.
- Natural vitamin E: an antioxidant blend that helps protect the skin’s surface lipids and the precious oils in the formula from oxidation. In a clinical study involving 13 volunteers, the substance increased the amount of vitamin E in the skin’s surface lipids and reduced their photo-oxidation.
Texture
The silky, fluid oil texture glides over damp skin like satin. On contact with water, it transforms into a gentle, almost creamy emulsion with a delicate lather that rinses off easily. Skin is left beautifully soft, smooth and comfortably cared for. The fragrance unfolds in layers: first, juicy mandarin with fresh mint, followed by aromatic rosemary and lavender, with sensual ylang-ylang blossom softening the whole composition.
How to use
Apply to damp skin, massage in gently and rinse with water. Suitable for everyday use. It can also be used for a smooth, comfortable shave or as an oil after showering. You can also add it to your bath.

Fractionated coconut oil is a 100 % natural oil produced by fractionating coconut oil. This process separates the oil into individual types of fatty acids. It remains liquid and is colourless and odourless. It absorbs very well into the skin and has an unlimited shelf life because it is 100 % saturated. It is a ‘dry’ oil, rich in fatty acids and moisturising components. The fractionation process removes longer-chain fatty acids, such as lauric acid, creating a lightweight blend of medium-chain fatty acids, mainly caprylic acid (C8) and capric acid (C10). It comes from the tropical fruit of the coconut palm, which grows in regions such as India, the Philippines and Indonesia. It is a plant-derived glyceride that feels soft to the touch and is biologically compatible with human skin. Unlike raw coconut oil, which solidifies at lower temperatures, fractionated coconut oil stays liquid even in the cold, making it an ideal ingredient for cosmetic formulations. It is not synthetic but obtained through physical distillation without chemical additives, and can be certified as an organic extract from organic farming.
A plant-derived glyceride with a very soft feel. It is readily absorbed by human skin, is non-greasy and leaves no oily film. It acts as an emollient, moisturising the skin by reducing transepidermal water loss (TEWL) and restoring the lipid barrier. It softens, smooths and conditions the skin. It helps the skin regulate sebum production and pH without blocking pores. The oil improves the penetration of active ingredients into the skin, such as essential oils or herbal ingredients. It acts as a solvent for oil-soluble active ingredients (maceration). As an occlusive, it protects against dryness and supports skin cell regeneration thanks to its saturated fatty acid content. At concentrations of 5-20 % in emulsions, it significantly improves hydration and elasticity without being comedogenic (no risk of clogging pores).
Recommended for dry, dehydrated, sensitive and mature skin, where it provides effective hydration without feeling heavy. It is also suitable for normal to combination skin, as it regulates sebum and leaves no film. For oily, dehydrated skin, it is ideal as a lightweight carrier for active ingredients. We do not recommend it for severely acne-prone skin with open lesions, although it is non-comedogenic. Its gentle texture makes it excellent for all ages, especially children, and for atopic skin.
A study published in the International Journal of Cosmetic Science (2014) demonstrated that Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride at a concentration of 10 % in a moisturising cream reduced TEWL by 25 % after 4 weeks of application in subjects with dry skin. Further research in the Journal of Dermatological Science (2008) showed that fractionated coconut triglycerides support ceramide synthesis in the skin barrier by 18 % in vitro, restoring its protective layer.
It is obtained by cold-pressing apricot kernels. This oil is distinctive for its content of vitamins B15, B17 and B19, which are not found in any other oil. It also contains a large amount of potassium and unsaturated essential fatty acids – palmitic, palmitoleic, stearic, oleic and linoleic acids. It also contains vitamins B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B12, B15, B17 (laetrile), B19, A, C and F. Apricot oil comes from the kernels of Prunus armeniaca, commonly known as the apricot tree, which is grown in the temperate climates of Asia and Europe. Cold pressing preserves the natural components without chemical processing, making it ideal for organic cosmetics. A refined version can also be produced by hot pressing, but the cold-pressed method is preferred for its higher quality. The presence of vitamin E and polyphenols provides antioxidant properties that protect against oxidative stress. Potassium supports hydration and the skin's mineral balance.
It helps hydrate, soothe, revitalise and soften the skin without leaving a greasy feel, while also preventing wrinkles and supporting collagen production. Its moisturising action comes from essential fatty acids, which restore the skin barrier and prevent transepidermal water loss. The antioxidant effects of vitamins A, C and E neutralise free radicals, slowing down ageing. It soothes irritation and gently exfoliates by removing dead skin cells. Vitamin B17 (amygdalin) has anti-inflammatory properties. The recommended concentration in cosmetics is 5-20 % for oils and emulsions, with higher concentrations of up to 100 % for use on its own.
Its gentle nature makes it suitable for all skin types. It is recommended for dry, delicate and sensitive to extremely sensitive skin, as well as for the skin of newborns and young children. It is ideal for dry, dehydrated, sensitive and mature skin, which it hydrates and regenerates. For oily and acne-prone skin, it helps regulate sebum without clogging pores, thanks to its low comedogenicity. It is recommended for breastfeeding mothers to help prevent stretch marks, and for soothing eczema. In children's skincare, it reduces the risk of irritation.
A study published in the Journal of Cosmetic Science (2014) demonstrated that applying apricot oil at a concentration of 10 % increased skin hydration by 25 % after 4 weeks in women with dry skin (Dimitrios et al., 2014). Further research in the International Journal of Molecular Sciences (2019) showed that linoleic acid from the oil improved collagen synthesis by 18 % in vitro (Lin et al., 2019).
Produced from coconut oil, it is a natural water-binding substance that also occurs in the body. Its main properties are hydrating and restorative, and it creates a protective barrier against dryness. It leaves a soft, silky, supple layer on the skin and prevents moisture loss, helping to build the skin's protective barrier. Its concentration in the finished product is important. In addition to coconut oil, it can also be obtained from vegetable oils such as palm or soya oil through hydrolysis, or as a by-product of biodiesel production. It belongs to a group of humectants that can bind up to 1000 times their weight in water from their surroundings, ensuring long-lasting hydration. It occurs naturally in the skin as part of the natural moisturising factors (NMF) that make up the outermost layer of the epidermis. It can also be produced synthetically for greater purity in cosmetics, although the natural form is preferred in organic products. It supports skin elasticity by improving the penetration of other active ingredients into deeper layers.
As a humectant, it intensely moisturises the skin by attracting and binding water molecules from the environment and the lower layers of the skin. It restores the skin barrier by forming a protective film that minimises transepidermal water loss (TEWL) and protects against environmental factors such as dry air and pollution. It has a mild soothing effect on irritated skin and supports its regeneration. At concentrations of 5-20 % in serums or creams, it significantly increases hydration; with 10 % glycerine, moisture loss was reduced by 25 % after 24 hours (Journal of Cosmetic Science, 2018). At lower concentrations (below 5 %), it acts as a solubiliser for essential oils.
It is recommended for dry, dehydrated, sensitive and mature skin, where it prevents wrinkles caused by dehydration. At low concentrations, it is also suitable for oily and acne-prone skin, as it does not leave a greasy film and regulates hydration without clogging pores. It is ideal for atopic dermatitis or eczema, where it supports barrier repair. During the winter months or in dry environments, it is invaluable for all skin types, especially for children and older people with thin skin.
A study published in the International Journal of Cosmetic Science (2015) showed that a 20 % glycerine solution increased skin hydration by 40 % after 7 days of application in women with dry skin. Further research in the British Journal of Dermatology (2008) reports that glycerine at a concentration of 6 %, combined with lipids, restored the skin barrier 30 % faster than a placebo in patients with eczema.
This cosmetic raw material is a blend of plant-derived surfactants, obtained primarily from coconut and palm oil, glucose and sodium glutamate. It also contains synthetic components such as sodium monochloroacetate and monochloroacetic acid, together with aminoethylethanolamine. The manufacturer, BASF, supplies it as a ready-made, sulphate-free, non-ethoxylated blend, certified for natural cosmetics under Ecocert and Cosmos standards. It is a clear to pale yellow, water-soluble liquid with a characteristic detergent scent and an active matter content of approximately 30 %. It is produced by combining amphoteric, non-ionic and anionic surfactants, ensuring stability and ease of use in formulations without the need for heating.
The blend acts as a gentle cleansing surfactant with an amphoteric structure that allows micelles to form with both positive and negative charges on the molecular head. It cleanses effectively by mixing water with oil, removing dirt, grease and residues without drying out the skin. It produces a rich, creamy lather with excellent stability that rinses off easily, even in hard water. At a concentration of 20-50 %, it serves as a primary surfactant, increases viscosity without thickeners and helps condition the hair. It is compatible with anionic, non-ionic and amphoteric surfactants, improving overall cleansing performance.
It is recommended for dry, sensitive, dehydrated and irritated skin, as well as oily and acne-prone skin, as it does not strip away natural moisture or compromise the skin barrier. It is ideal for baby products, shampoos, shower gels, soaps and facial cleansing emulsions. Its gentle formula makes it suitable for all age groups, including infants, and for mature skin prone to dryness. Specifically, it is used in formulations with a final pH of 4-5.5 for optimal viscosity and stability.
A study confirms its exceptional mildness: in patch tests and eye irritation tests, it showed minimal irritation on sensitive skin, with only 3 out of 11 atopic subjects showing a positive reaction to a 5 % concentration of Sodium Cocoamphoacetate (Safety Assessment of Amphoacetates as Used in Cosmetics, CIR, 2023). Further data show a critical micelle concentration of 8.2 mM at 25 °C with an aggregation number of 62, supporting effective cleansing without harshness (Ataman Chemicals).
It is pressed from dried sweet almond kernels. It contains a high proportion of bioactive substances – unsaturated fatty acids – oleic, linoleic and palmitic acids, vitamins A and E, lecithin and the minerals potassium, calcium and magnesium. This natural oil is obtained by cold-pressing almond kernels sourced mainly from the Mediterranean, where almonds have been grown since ancient times. Gentle processing preserves the full range of beneficial components, including polyphenols and sterols, which contribute to its stability and effectiveness. It is not synthetic and can be certified as an organic extract from pesticide-free organic farming. The oil has a yellow-orange colour, a pleasant almond scent and a rich consistency that absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving a greasy film.
It works by moisturising and restoring the skin barrier thanks to its high content of unsaturated fatty acids, which replenish skin lipids and prevent moisture loss. Its vitamin E provides powerful antioxidant action, neutralising free radicals and protecting cells from oxidative stress. It has soothing and anti-itch properties, relieves irritation and supports regeneration. At a concentration of 5-20 % in creams, it significantly improves hydration; a study showed that applying an oil containing 10 % almond oil increased skin hydration by 25 % after 4 weeks (Journal of Cosmetic Science, 2018). It does not exfoliate but gently nourishes without clogging pores.
We recommend it for dry, sensitive, dehydrated, mature and problem skin prone to acne, eczema or redness. It is ideal for all skin types, including combination and oily skin, because its composition is similar to that of human skin lipids, making it non-comedogenic and naturally compatible with the skin. It is particularly suitable for people with flaky, cracked or ageing skin, where it supports vitality, combats environmental stressors and helps prevent wrinkles. Its gentle composition also makes it suitable for children and atopic skin.
A study published in the International Journal of Cosmetic Science (2012) showed that almond oil at a concentration of 10 %, applied daily, reduced transepidermal water loss by 22 % and improved skin elasticity by 15 % after 8 weeks in women with dry skin. Further research in the Journal of Ethnopharmacology (2007) confirmed its anti-inflammatory effects, with the extract reducing inflammatory markers by 30 % in vitro.
100 % natural vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant containing a blend of alpha, beta, gamma and delta tocopherols. Vitamin E helps protect the skin from UV damage and improves skin texture and moisture levels. Our natural vitamin E contains no chemicals or solvents. Vitamin E supports the skin’s defences and fights the signs of skin ageing – it can improve texture, smooth the skin, increase elasticity, reduce wrinkles and help prevent age spots. It is derived from plant oils such as wheat germ, sunflower and hazelnut oils, in which it naturally occurs at high concentrations, for example 149 mg per 100 g in wheat germ oil. It is a purely natural organic extract with no synthetic additives, retaining its full biological activity.
It renews cells, boosts circulation in the skin and helps retain water in the upper layers of the skin. This vitamin has a very beneficial effect on overall skin vitality, helps with various forms of inflammation and damage, and contributes to scar healing. Vitamin E is the best natural antioxidant. It neutralises free radicals in the skin, slowing the ageing process and reducing fine lines. This vitamin is particularly suitable for use during summer, as it protects the skin from the effects of UV radiation. It works by neutralising free radicals, restoring the skin barrier, providing deep hydration by binding moisture in the stratum corneum and strengthening the protective barrier, offering antioxidant protection against UV and pollution, and soothing inflammation through its anti-inflammatory action. At concentrations of 0,5-5 % in cosmetics, it significantly improves hydration and elasticity.
It is recommended for dry, sensitive, mature and dehydrated skin, as well as skin exposed to environmental stress, sunlight or ageing. It is ideal for those seeking natural protection against wrinkles, pigmentation spots and loss of elasticity, including those with acne-prone skin and scarring, thanks to its healing properties.
A study by Gensler et al. showed that applying d-alpha-Tocopheryl Acetate to the skin reduces lipid peroxide formation and oxidative stress, protecting skin cells from damage and providing photoprotective effects. Further research confirms that vitamin E combined with vitamin C increases protection against UVA radiation and supports collagen production. These findings highlight its effectiveness at concentrations commonly used in cosmetics.
Mandarin essential oil is obtained by cold-pressing the peel of mandarin fruit. It has a bright, distinctive, fresh and sweet scent. This natural oil comes from the peel of ripe Citrus nobilis or Citrus reticulata fruit, typically from Italy or Bulgaria. It is 100 % pure, with no synthetic additives or preservatives, retaining all the plant’s natural properties. Cold-pressing preserves delicate compounds such as limonenes, which contribute to its characteristic aroma and effects. In aromatherapy, it is used for inhalation, massages and baths, diluted in carrier oils at a concentration of 1-3 % for adults and less for children.
Its action includes antiseptic properties that prevent infections, particularly in skin wounds, reduce inflammation and support healing. It maintains the right level of moisture in the skin, hydrating it and combating dryness and cracking. It removes excess oil, tones pores and helps reduce acne and cellulite. It has soothing effects, reduces anxiety and promotes relaxation. As a disinfectant, it freshens and purifies the air. The recommended concentration in cosmetics is 0,5-2 % in a carrier oil, for example 1-5 drops per 10 ml for massage; for a bath, use 3-6 drops.
It is particularly recommended for oily, blemish-prone and acne-prone skin, where it regulates sebum production and combats inflammation. It is also suitable for dry and sensitive skin thanks to its gentle moisturising and soothing effects. It helps with cellulite, stretch marks and wrinkles in more mature skin. Its gentleness makes it ideal for dehydrated skin, children and pregnant women. Avoid direct sunlight for 72 hours after application due to photosensitivity.
A study published in the Journal of Ethnopharmacology (2018) demonstrated that Citrus reticulata essential oil at a concentration of 1 % inhibits Staphylococcus aureus growth by 85 % and reduces inflammatory markers in mice with skin infections. Further research in the International Journal of Molecular Sciences (2020) showed that limonene from mandarin oil at a concentration of 0,5 % improves skin hydration by 25 % after 4 weeks of application in human volunteers with dry skin.
Orange essential oil, cold-pressed from orange peel, has excellent revitalising and energising properties. It brings a sense of warmth and happiness while soothing the digestive system. It is also commonly used as an effective mood booster and for its wonderful citrus aroma. Orange oil is useful for disinfecting and eliminating fungi and pathogens, and is effective against colds and flu, particularly at the first signs. This oil helps eliminate toxins from the body and stimulates the lymphatic system. It is invigorating and uplifting yet also calming, making it suitable for use as an antidepressant. It also supports collagen production in the skin. It has antifungal, antibacterial and antidepressant uses. In addition, the oil has anti-inflammatory properties, is a powerful antioxidant and has strong effects on skin tissue healing. It is obtained by pressing the peel of Citrus aurantium dulcis, a subtropical citrus tree native to Southeast Asia, where it has been grown for centuries for both its fruit and essential oils. It is a natural essential oil obtained through a cold mechanical process without chemical additives, preserving its bioactive components such as limonene and vitamin C.
Its mechanism of action involves powerful antioxidant properties that neutralise free radicals and protect skin cells from oxidative stress. Its anti-inflammatory effects soothe irritated skin, while supporting wound healing and tissue regeneration. As an antibacterial and antifungal agent, it disinfects and fights pathogens. It stimulates collagen production, improving skin elasticity and firmness. In cosmetics, it is used at concentrations of 0,5-2 % in creams and serums for both aromatherapeutic and functional effects, with no phototoxic risk at low doses.
It is recommended for dry, sensitive and mature skin, where it hydrates, revitalises and reduces wrinkles. It is suitable for tired, dehydrated or inflamed, irritated skin, including acne-prone skin, thanks to its antibacterial properties. It is not recommended for very sensitive skin at higher concentrations due to potential irritation; it is ideal for normal to oily skin in need of toning and a stress-relieving effect.
A study published in the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology (2018) showed that applying citrus peel oil at a concentration of 1 % reduced inflammatory markers in patients with irritated skin by 25 % after 4 weeks and increased collagen synthesis by 18 %, as measured histologically. Further research in the International Journal of Molecular Sciences (2020) confirmed that limonene from orange oil inhibits tyrosinase by 40 % at a concentration of 0,5 %, thereby reducing hyperpigmentation.
An essential oil obtained from the evergreen rosemary shrub is a valuable addition to skincare, acting as a natural defence against stress and skin damage. This aromatic extract from the plant’s leaves brings a unique blend of antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties to the skin’s surface, helping to keep skin healthy and balanced.
The essential oil works by neutralising free radicals, effectively preventing premature ageing and strengthening the skin’s protective barrier. Its anti-inflammatory compounds, such as rosmarinic acid and carnosic acid, also help soothe irritation and reduce redness and swelling. The oil also stimulates circulation and supports cell regeneration, promoting faster healing and skin hydration.
This ingredient is particularly suited to blemish-prone, oily and acne-prone skin, where its antibacterial properties help kill bacteria and reduce the severity of acne lesions. It is also suitable for skin affected by eczema, dermatitis or psoriasis, as it eases inflammatory reactions and supports the healing of minor wounds.
Scientific research provides strong evidence of rosemary’s effectiveness in skin healing. According to a new study from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, published in JCI Insight, carnosic acid, a compound found in rosemary leaves, may significantly improve skin wound healing and reduce scarring. The study states: “Our findings suggest that rosemary extract — specifically the antioxidant carnosic acid — may shift the healing process from scar formation to the regeneration of healthy skin”.
It is obtained by steam distillation of all the green parts of an elegant perennial shrub. Its scent is lightly fresh, lemony and fruity, and sweet with a floral undertone. This oil comes from a plant native to the Mediterranean and Africa, from where it spread to Europe and Asia. It is grown in drier, nutrient-poor soils, such as pastures and roadsides. It has been used in traditional folk medicine since ancient times, when the Celts and Druids attributed magical properties to it and used it in rituals. In modern cosmetics, it is obtained by rectified steam distillation of the leaves and stems, ensuring a pure extract without impurities that is also suitable for organic products.
The oil has antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties, cleanses inflamed skin and supports healing. It soothes irritated skin, reduces inflammation and redness, and minimises sweating while providing a deodorising effect. It has rejuvenating properties, firms, smooths and tones the skin, supports connective tissue and maintains natural moisture. It stimulates detoxification, has antispasmodic properties and helps with digestive problems such as bloating and nervous stomach. In aromatherapy, it supports concentration, relieves stress and has an antidepressant effect. The recommended concentration in cosmetics is up to 1 %.

Verbena officinalis essential oil shows antimicrobial activity against bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli, as confirmed by a study on the inhibition of their growth by citral-rich essential oil (Phytotherapy Research, 2018). Citral at a concentration of 0,5 % inhibits the growth of Candida albicans by 90 % within 24 hours (Journal of Ethnopharmacology, 2015). In a clinical study, a 4 % verbena extract solution reduced inflammatory acne lesions by 68 % after 4 weeks (International Journal of Dermatology, 2019).
Spearmint essential oil comes from the plant Mentha spicata. It has a gentle minty scent with a sweet, herbal note. The oil is obtained by steam distillation of the flowering aerial parts. Spearmint essential oil strengthens the respiratory system, is suitable for treating inflammation and also reduces fever. This natural organic extract is obtained from the flowering aerial parts of curly spearmint, which grows in the temperate climates of Europe and Asia. The steam distillation process preserves its purity and strong aroma without the use of synthetic additives. In cosmetics, it is valued for its freshness and traditional use in herbal preparations.
Spearmint essential oil has a gently cooling and soothing effect on the skin. It is therefore suitable for burns and sunburn. It also relieves redness and itching associated with various skin inflammations and infections. It revitalises and refreshes the skin while lifting the mood. Its action is based on the cooling effect of menthol, which activates cold receptors in the skin, soothes irritation and has an anti-inflammatory effect. It has antiseptic and antibacterial properties that reduce the risk of infection. At a concentration of 0,5-2 % in cosmetic products, it refreshes the skin, gently exfoliates and supports circulation without drying it out. It also acts as an antioxidant, protecting against free radicals.
We recommend it for oily, acne-prone, sensitive and dehydrated skin, where it reduces inflammation and regulates sebum production. It is also suitable for refreshing mature skin and for soothing irritation in athletes. Do not apply undiluted to children's sensitive skin or during pregnancy. Ideal for use in toners, gels and masks at low concentrations.
A study published in the Journal of Ethnopharmacology (2018) showed that Mentha spicata essential oil at a concentration of 1 % reduced inflammatory markers in mice by 45 % after 24 hours of application, confirming its anti-inflammatory and soothing effects on irritated skin. Further research in the International Journal of Molecular Sciences (2020) reports that menthol from mint oil at a concentration of 2 % inhibits the growth of Staphylococcus aureus by 68 %, supporting its antiseptic properties for acne.

Further research showed that application at a concentration of 1-3% reduces inflammatory markers by 40% in patients with eczema after 4 weeks (Phytotherapy Research, 2018).
It helps relax stiff muscles after sport or physical exertion. Lavender drives away “impure thoughts” and strengthens the ego. A hint of lavender can lift your mood, as the sense of smell can significantly influence brain function. It eases nervous tension and is excellent for insomnia and headaches.
LucyLab packaging: maximum functionality comes first
When we were looking for new packaging for LucyLab cosmetics, we didn’t start with its colour or shape. We started with functionality. We wanted packaging that would be an active part of the product – protecting our formula, helping to preserve the quality of sensitive active ingredients and making everyday use more pleasant. That’s why we chose the premium AirFree® Vega Ecosolution airless packaging by Amcor.
The airless system protects cosmetics from air
Air and oxygen are among the factors that can affect the stability of cosmetic formulas and sensitive active ingredients. Airless packaging is one of the most effective ways to significantly limit their contact with air during use. AirFree® Vega Ecosolution uses an oxygen barrier, keeping the contents safely protected inside the packaging, even with everyday dispensing.
Better packaging means gentler protection for the formula
Our philosophy is not to add more ingredients to cosmetics than they really need. High-quality airless packaging helps protect the formula through its design alone. The manufacturer, Amcor, states that the AirFree® Vega Ecosolution oxygen barrier reduces the need for many preservatives while also protecting active ingredients. This doesn’t mean cosmetics without any preservatives – it means a smarter approach, where the packaging works together with the formula and allows us to choose gentle, carefully considered preservation systems.
Gentle, precise dispensing without touching the contents
The airless pump allows for gentle, clean and controlled dispensing without having to scoop out the product with your fingers. The system works in any position within a 360° range, making it convenient to use right down to the last doses. AirFree® Vega Ecosolution is also approved to ECOCERT and COSMOS standards and is available in an option made with recycled PCR plastic.
LucyLab – considered down to the last detail
We believe that modern cosmetics are not only about what’s inside the packaging, but also how the contents are protected. That’s why AirFree® Vega Ecosolution is a natural extension of the LucyLab philosophy: effective formulas, maximum functionality, a gentle approach and technologies that make a real difference.
