SPF with mineral filters, without a white cast
A new generation of mineral sun protection that combines high SPF 50 with luxurious skincare. NON-NANO mineral filters provide broad-spectrum protection against UVA and UVB rays without a white cast or weighing down the skin. A biotechnological extract from the microalga Phormidium persicinum, Japanese KONOMI matcha and beta-carotene strengthen antioxidant protection and help the skin deal with oxidative and light-induced stress. Niacinamide supports the skin barrier, while BIO aloe vera and precious oils deliver hydration and softness. The natural green tint visually neutralises redness and evens out the appearance of the skin. The result is protected, hydrated and radiant skin with a light, comfortable feel and no white cast.
What the cream does
- Sunlight and blue light: protects the skin from sunburn and screen light all year round. Provides high, broad-spectrum protection against UVA and UVB rays and helps protect the skin from everyday light-induced stress. NON-NANO mineral filters are complemented by plant-based technology that helps distribute them evenly across the protective layer.
- Premature skin ageing: helps prevent wrinkles, loss of elasticity and dull-looking skin. Mineral UV filters protect against wrinkles caused by sunlight, Phormidium persicinum delays the signs of skin ageing, beta-carotene helps counter the effects of UV radiation and natural vitamin E protects the skin with its antioxidant properties.
- Weakened skin barrier: strengthens the skin’s protective function, helps reduce moisture loss and keeps skin soft and smooth. Niacinamide creates a protective barrier against water loss, while BIO aloe vera juice hydrates the skin and soothes irritation.
Who it’s for
This protective face cream against sun exposure is suitable for normal, dry, oily and combination skin. It is particularly suitable for:
- sensitive and redness-prone skin,
- oily and blemish-prone skin,
- skin with wrinkles and uneven tone,
- everyday protection against UV radiation throughout the year.
Key ingredients
- NON-NANO mineral UV filters: zinc oxide and titanium dioxide provide high, broad-spectrum protection against UVA and UVB rays. The NON-NANO form uses larger particles that work in the protective layer on the skin’s surface and do not penetrate its living layers. They are photostable and gentle even on sensitive skin. Thanks to precise formulation, they create an even protective layer without an unwanted white cast.
- UV protection-boosting technology: plant waxes help distribute the mineral filters evenly in the formula and on the skin. This helps create a continuous protective layer and makes the cream pleasant to apply.
- KONOMI organic Matcha: finely ground Japanese green tea, naturally rich in polyphenols. It complements antioxidant skincare, helps the skin deal with oxidative stress and gives the cream its characteristic green colour, which visually neutralises redness. In a clinical study, green tea extracts reduced UV-induced redness and limited DNA damage.
- PHORMISKIN™ BIOPROTECH G - blue exosomes: a revolutionary next-generation technology. Blue exosomes support the skin’s natural defence, antioxidant and regenerative mechanisms. They help protect the skin from oxidative and light-induced stress and support a smoother, firmer and more radiant appearance. In a placebo-controlled study of 15 women, the cream improved skin radiance and tone evenness, smoothed the skin’s surface and reduced the appearance of wrinkles after 28 days.
- Niacinamide (vitamin B3): supports the production of ceramides and other lipids that are important for a healthy skin barrier. It helps reduce moisture loss, strengthen the skin’s natural resilience and even out its tone. In a laboratory and in vivo study, it increased the production of ceramides and fatty acids and reduced water loss.
- Beta-carotene from carrot extract: a well-known plant-based antioxidant that helps neutralise free radicals and protect the skin’s natural antioxidant reserves. It supports the skin’s elasticity and healthy appearance and helps prevent a dull, tired-looking tone. In a clinical study of 12 volunteers, topically applied beta-carotene protected the skin’s surface layers against radiation-induced free radicals.
- Phormidium persicinum: a biotechnological extract from a resilient marine microalga that develops its own protective mechanisms in environments with intense sunlight. It helps strengthen the skin’s natural defences against light-induced and oxidative stress and restores a fresh, radiant appearance.
The skin is further nourished by BIO jojoba oil, AlgaPūr microalgae oil rich in Omega-9, and an emollient derived from olive oil and olive leaves.
Texture
The cream spreads easily and doesn’t leave a heavy or sticky feel. It is fragrance-free, contains no essential oils and has a subtle, natural scent.
How to use
In the morning, apply a generous amount of cream to clean skin on the face, neck and décolleté before going out in the sun. Spread it thoroughly to ensure no areas of skin are left uncovered. Reapply especially after swimming, sweating or towel-drying.
Excessive sun exposure is a serious health risk. Do not stay in the sun for too long, even when using sun protection.
What does the SPF number mean, and what is my skin phototype?
SPF extends the time it takes for your skin to burn. However, it does not tell you exactly how long you can safely spend in the sun. Protection is affected by the intensity of the radiation, the amount of cream applied, your skin phototype, sweating, swimming and towel-drying, so apply enough product and reapply regularly. The higher the SPF number, the longer it protects your skin from sunburn.
Skin phototype is determined by genetic factors and the appearance of your skin. It describes how your skin naturally responds to the sun - whether it burns easily and how deeply it tans.
How to identify your skin phototype
Your skin, hair and eye colour can offer clues, but your skin’s actual response to the sun is what matters most.
- Children’s skin: not a separate phototype. However, it is more delicate and sensitive, so it needs thorough protection regardless of skin, hair or eye colour. The natural protection time is 5 minutes.
- Celtic type: very fair skin, often with a pink undertone, red or very light hair and light eyes. Burns very quickly in the sun and tans very little, if at all. The natural protection time is 5-10 minutes.
- Northern European type: pale skin, blonde hair and blue or green eyes. Burns easily and tans slowly. The natural protection time is 10-15 minutes.
- Mixed type: beige to olive skin, brown or dark blonde hair and darker eyes. May burn, but gradually develops a brown tan. The natural protection time is 15-20 minutes.
- Mediterranean type: naturally brown skin, dark brown to black hair and brown or black eyes. Burns less often and tans more easily. The natural protection time is 20-30 minutes.
Darker phototypes can also be damaged by UV radiation, so every skin type needs protection.
How long does SPF protect my skin from the sun?
How long you can stay in the sun without burning depends on the cream’s SPF, your skin’s natural protection time (phototype) and other factors such as sweating, swimming and towel-drying.
You can get an approximate idea of how the protection works by multiplying your skin’s natural protection time by the SPF:
Natural skin protection time × SPF = approximate protection time before sunburn (mins)
Example: A person with a Celtic skin phototype and a natural protection time of 5 minutes can increase their skin’s protection to approximately 250 minutes (about 4 hours) by applying an SPF 50 product. The calculation is 5 × SPF 50 = 250 mins.
Please note: this is not an exact calculation of how long you can safely stay in the sun. Radiation intensity changes throughout the day, and protection is reduced by applying too little cream, sweating, swimming and towel-drying. Apply a generous amount of sun protection and reapply regularly.

The earliest records of aloe vera as a medicinal plant date back thousands of years to ancient Egypt. Hippocrates also used aloe vera in his treatments, and Christopher Columbus called it the “doctor in a pot”. Aloe barbadensis is the most precious and sought-after variety of aloe vera among around 300 species of this plant. Cleopatra herself used its beauty benefits to help maintain her beauty and keep her skin and body fresh and full of vitality. Aloe vera is a source of a wide range of vital elements, including vitamins (A, B1, B2, B6, B12, C, E), minerals (calcium, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, chlorine, as well as manganese, copper, zinc and chromium), amino acids (aloe vera contains as many as eight essential amino acids), and even enzymes, lectins and saponins – active substances that act against viruses, bacteria, fungi and infections. “Cleansing” lignin allows substances to penetrate deep into the skin. Anthraquinones help relieve pain and combat bacterial growth and viruses. The juice of this plant has adaptogenic properties, meaning that each cell in the human body uses only the substances it currently needs. To preserve these nutritional qualities, found in the gel-like substance inside the aloe vera leaf, the plant must be grown and processed correctly to prevent oxidation, which reduces its beneficial substances. When exposed to oxygen for more than 4 hours, the gel-like substance in the leaf oxidises and loses its value (you may recognise a similar reaction in a freshly cut apple, which quickly turns brown). Aloe must be stabilised. Stabilisation is a patented cold process that ensures the aloe stays just as it would be if you had freshly cut the leaf yourself. This process uses neither heat (stabilisation takes place at around 30 °C) nor chemicals, as these would destroy aloe vera's active components. Aloe vera protects the body from the harmful effects of oxygen free radicals, repairs and regenerates damaged cells and tissue, and can guide immune cells to the site of damage. Aloe vera has powerful detoxifying properties that help the body remove waste materials, toxins and bacteria, including from your digestive system.
Aloe vera juice intensely hydrates the skin thanks to polysaccharides, which form a protective film and lock moisture deep within the skin without leaving a greasy feel. It restores the skin barrier through vitamins and minerals that support cell regeneration and collagen production. As an antioxidant, it protects vitamins C, E and beta-carotene from free radicals, slowing skin ageing. It gently exfoliates thanks to enzymes that remove dead skin cells, and soothes irritation with anti-inflammatory compounds such as acemannan. Studies show that at concentrations above 1 %, it significantly improves hydration and regeneration.
Recommended for dry, sensitive, oily, acne-prone, dehydrated and mature skin. Ideal for reactive skin after sun exposure, shaving or treatments, where it soothes redness. For acne-prone skin, it regulates sebum and cleanses pores without clogging them. For mature skin, it supports elasticity and reduces wrinkles.
A study published in the Journal of Dermatological Treatment (2009) showed that aloe vera gel at a concentration of 0,5 % accelerated wound healing by 72 % compared with the control group after 12 days. Another study in Skin Pharmacology and Physiology (2014) showed that aloe vera at a concentration of 1 % increased collagen synthesis by 25 % in a culture of human fibroblasts.
This is a natural emollient derived from sugar beet and coconut. It is of 100% natural origin and is 100% biodegradable. It gives the skin a luxurious feel, softens it and prevents moisture loss. It gives products a lightweight, non-greasy feel. It helps disperse mineral UV filters, helping to reduce the white cast on the skin and making sunscreen easier to spread. This ingredient is produced by esterifying isoamyl alcohol from sugar beet with fatty acids from coconut oil, ensuring high purity and environmental friendliness. Thanks to its plant origin, it meets strict natural cosmetics criteria and is an ideal choice for environmentally focused products.
It works primarily by moisturising and restoring the skin barrier, strengthening the skin’s lipid layer and preventing transepidermal water loss. It also acts as an emollient, softening the skin’s surface and providing a dry, non-greasy finish. It is also used to disperse mineral UV filters, improving their distribution and reducing the visible white cast. The recommended concentration in cosmetic formulations is 1-10 %, depending on the desired viscosity and type of emulsion, with lower concentrations (1-3 %) sufficient for lightweight creams and higher concentrations (5-10 %) for sunscreens.
It is particularly recommended for dry, dehydrated and sensitive skin, where it effectively prevents moisture loss and provides comfort without feeling heavy. Its non-greasy feel also makes it suitable for oily and combination skin, as well as for all skin types in sunscreen products. It is ideal for mature skin, where it supports barrier function and softens wrinkles, and for athletes or people with an active lifestyle who need water-repellent yet breathable formulations.
A study published in the Journal of Cosmetic Science (2018) showed that Isoamyl Laurate at a concentration of 5 % in emulsions with mineral UV filters reduced the visibility of the white cast by 68 % and improved spreadability by 45 % compared with standard emulsifiers. Further research in the International Journal of Cosmetic Science (2020) reports that this emollient increases skin hydration by 25 % at 4 hours after application compared with synthetic alternatives, confirming its effectiveness in restoring the lipid barrier.
PHYSICAL - MECHANICAL - MINERAL UV FILTERS: NON NANOMETRIC SUNSCREEN - active minerals work on the skin's surface, reflecting harmful UV rays. They create a mirror-like effect on the skin's surface, reflecting UV rays away from the skin. Unlike chemical filters, they do not penetrate the skin but form a protective layer on its surface. Benefits: they protect against UVA and UVB rays, work immediately after application, are suitable for all skin types, including children's and sensitive skin, do not increase free radical production, and are also suitable for people with skin conditions, as they reflect heat away from the skin's surface, unlike chemical filters, which generate and absorb heat within the skin. Their effectiveness does not decrease during their shelf life (whereas chemical filters become less effective), and they are not harmful to marine flora and fauna. NON NANO is an inorganic composite with properties suitable for use as a UV filter in cosmetics. Its particle size is measured in micrometres. The particles are not within the nanometre range (1-100 nm), and it provides a high level of UVA and UVB protection. It consists of a composite of ZnO, TiO2 and SiO2, developed using patented technology that provides broad-spectrum UV protection and offers safe, effective protection against UV rays. The particle size distribution was determined using Nanoparticle Tracking Analysis (NTA), a characterisation technique that uses both light scattering and Brownian motion to determine the size of particles in samples. These mineral filters are derived from natural minerals such as zinc oxide and titanium dioxide, with silica added for improved texture and stability. These are inorganic, non-synthetic raw materials in micronised form, free from nanoparticles, ensuring safety for both the skin and the environment.
It works by physically reflecting UV rays at the skin's surface, creating a protective barrier without penetrating the deeper layers. It also soothes the skin through its anti-inflammatory properties, restores the skin barrier by minimising UV damage, and acts as an antioxidant by preventing the formation of free radicals caused by sunlight. At concentrations of 10-25 %, it provides high SPF 30-50+ protection, depending on the formulation, with an immediate effect after application.
Recommended for all skin types, particularly dry, sensitive, oily, acne-prone, dehydrated and mature skin. It is ideal for children, pregnant women and people with rosacea or eczema, as it does not irritate the skin or clog pores. Also suitable for people who play sports and those with prolonged sun exposure.
A study published in the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology (2018) showed that non-nano ZnO at a concentration of 20 % provided broad-spectrum protection with UVA PF 15 and UVB PF 40, with minimal white cast and high photostability after 8 hours of exposure. Another study in the International Journal of Cosmetic Science (2020) reported that a micron-sized ZnO/TiO2 composite reduced induced erythema by 90 % after 24 hours of UV exposure compared with unprotected skin.
Jojoba oil is actually a liquid wax obtained from the seeds of Simmondsia chinensis, an evergreen shrub native to the deserts of Arizona and other arid regions of North America. The seeds resemble coffee beans and are rich in high-molecular-weight esters. It is an entirely natural extract with no synthetic components. Jojoba oil is also known as "liquid gold" and has been used in cosmetics for decades. Its unique composition sets it apart from other natural oils.
Jojoba oil works thanks to its structure, which is remarkably similar to the sebum produced by the skin's sebaceous glands. The oil effectively regulates sebum production, helping to balance the skin's overall condition and forming a protective barrier without an overly greasy feel. Jojoba has notable anti-inflammatory and soothing properties and, at the concentrations used in cosmetic products, provides excellent hydration and helps restore the skin. It also supports skin regeneration and cell renewal, helping to improve elasticity and suppleness. The oil absorbs readily without leaving a sticky feel or a film on the skin.
Jojoba oil is ideal for dry, sensitive, cracked and mature skin. Its soothing properties also make it suitable for acne-prone and dehydrated skin, as it regulates excess sebum production without drying the skin out. It also offers natural UV protection with a factor of approximately 3 to 4. Its anti-allergenic composition makes it safe even for extremely sensitive and atopic skin. Experts recommend it for people looking for a gentle alternative to synthetic moisturisers.
Research has demonstrated the effectiveness of jojoba oil in skincare. According to studies, jojoba oil in cosmetic products can regulate sebum production and improve the skin's overall condition, helping to balance its natural pH. The oil contains a high proportion of unsaturated fatty acids, vitamin E and numerous trace elements and minerals, which penetrate particularly well into the deeper layers of the skin and regenerate it from within. It restores lost shine and suppleness to hair, while helping to smooth wrinkles and reduce signs of ageing in the skin. It is a versatile, safe ingredient suitable for all skin types.
A stable, luxurious, bio-based liquid oil created through the transformative power of microalgae. The microalgae used to produce this highly stable oil originally come from chestnut tree sap. Biotechnology makes it possible to obtain AlgaPūr ™ algae oil with a strong focus on sustainability and the protection of nature and its resources. This innovative process uses advanced biotechnology to transform natural resources into a highly pure oil, minimising environmental impact and ensuring full traceability from raw material to finished product. This makes it an ideal example of sustainable cosmetics, combining the power of nature with modern science.
This highly stable oil contains more than 90% beneficial Omega-9 (oleic acid), which helps protect and strengthen the skin's structure while hydrating it to help protect against premature ageing. It works by moisturising the skin through reducing transepidermal water loss, restoring the skin barrier as a key component of sebum, and providing antioxidant protection against free radicals. Oleic acid supports skin elasticity and softness, helping to prevent dehydration and wrinkle formation. The typical concentration in cosmetic formulations is 5-20%, where it effectively increases hydration without clogging pores.
It is particularly recommended for dry, dehydrated, sensitive and mature skin, where it effectively combats moisture loss and premature ageing. It is also suitable for oily and acne-prone skin at low concentrations, as it regulates sebaceous gland activity and reduces inflammation. Its anti-inflammatory properties offer a soothing effect for sensitive skin, while it supports elasticity and reduces fine lines in mature skin. Avoid only if your skin is extremely oily and prone to comedones.
A study published in the Journal of Cosmetic Science (2018) showed that applying an oil rich in oleic acid at a concentration of 10% increased skin hydration by 25% and improved skin barrier function by 30% after 4 weeks of daily use. Further research in the International Journal of Molecular Sciences (2020) confirmed that omega-9 fatty acids at a concentration of 15% reduce inflammatory markers in the skin by 40% in subjects with dry skin.
Emulium® Illustro is an innovative emulsifier of natural origin based on polyglycerol esters. This ingredient comes from natural sources and is synthesised from natural raw materials using biotechnological processes. Polyglycerol esters are known for their ability to combine oil and water, which is the fundamental principle behind the function of emulsifiers in cosmetics. The ingredient won a Gold Award at the In-Cosmetics conference in 2019 for its innovative formulation and properties. Unlike traditional emulsifiers, it offers the unique advantage of a lightweight feel without leaving the skin sticky or greasy.
Emulium® Illustro works primarily by optimising the dispersion of mineral pigments and filters in cosmetic products. The emulsifier acts as a mediator between the oil and water phases, ensuring even distribution of the active ingredients. It also helps hydrate the skin and maintain its natural moisture balance. The patented technology ensures that mineral filters work at maximum effectiveness and that the SPF value remains stable even after application. As a result, the skin looks naturally radiant without feeling greasy or uncomfortable.
Emulium® Illustro is ideal for all skin types, especially sensitive and problem skin. Thanks to its non-comedogenic formulation and dermatological testing, it is recommended for people with atopic skin, eczema or reactive skin. It is also suitable for acne-prone skin, as it does not leave a greasy film or clog pores. Products containing this emulsifier are ideal for people with dry to normal skin who also need sun protection without a heavy feel. It is used in mineral make-up, sunscreens and lightweight moisturisers.
The polyglycerol esters in Emulium® Illustro have proven emulsifying and stabilising properties. Research into natural emulsifiers indicates that polyglycerol esters increase emulsion stability and improve the sensory properties of the finished product without adversely affecting the skin. Dermatological testing of products containing this emulsifier has confirmed its suitability for very sensitive skin, with a minimal risk of irritation or allergic reactions. The ingredient is approved for use in natural and conventional cosmetics and meets international regulatory standards for cosmetic product safety.
Niacin, or vitamin B3, belongs to the B vitamin complex. Vitamin B3 is a collective term for nicotinic acid and niacin. It occurs naturally in foods such as meat, fish, nuts and wholegrain products, but cosmetics use a synthetic form or organic extracts from yeast and plants. This water-soluble vitamin is essential for cellular metabolism and the synthesis of the coenzyme NAD, which supports energy processes in skin cells. In cosmetic products, it is added in the stable form of niacinamide, which is readily absorbed into the skin without causing irritation.
It protects the skin and improves its health. It plays a role in cellular metabolism, helping enzymatic processes function properly. Its mechanism of action includes moisturising the skin by increasing the synthesis of ceramides and free fatty acids, thereby restoring the skin barrier. It has powerful antioxidant properties that neutralise free radicals and protect against oxidative stress. It soothes inflammation by inhibiting pro-inflammatory cytokines and promotes exfoliation by regulating keratinisation. Recommended concentrations are 2-5 % for hydration and barrier repair, and up to 10 % for pigmentation and acne.
Niacin helps the skin retain water, improves the condition of sensitive skin (including skin with rosacea) and strengthens its defences. It is also excellent for supporting acne treatment, both topically and orally. It is useful even for severe forms of acne. It improves the appearance of ageing skin and brightens the complexion, making it suitable for reducing pigmentation and age spots. It plumps and hydrates the skin and prevents water loss. Its benefits extend well beyond our skin and hair. I recommend it for dry, sensitive, oily, acne-prone, dehydrated and mature skin. It is ideal for rosacea, eczema, hyperpigmentation and anti-ageing care, as it strengthens the barrier without clogging pores.
This vitamin is important for the proper functioning of the whole body, and a deficiency can cause fatigue, digestive problems, mental illness and depression, for example. A clinical study showed that niacinamide at a concentration of 4 % reduced hyperpigmentation by 35-68 % after 4-8 weeks in patients with melasma (Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology, 2004). Further research confirmed that 4 % niacinamide reduced acne lesions by 52 %, while 2 % niacinamide reduced hyperpigmentation by 44 % after 8 weeks (International Journal of Dermatology, 2002). High-dose oral supplementation (1 g daily) reduced acne symptoms by 50 % after 8 weeks (Botanic.sk study).
A blend of plant waxes obtained from natural sources, specifically the carnauba palm and rice bran, combined in a patented ratio using a specialised manufacturing process. These waxes come from renewable plant sources and are completely natural and biodegradable. Unlike synthetic UV filter boosters, they contain no chemical additives that could burden the environment. This makes them an ideal choice for environmentally friendly cosmetic formulations that respect both the skin and the planet. They are produced without harmful solvents, ensuring high purity and safety for the end user.
This ingredient acts as an SPF booster by improving the dispersion of mineral UV filters in an emulsion, ensuring even distribution and maximum effectiveness. It helps increase the SPF value without the need to add more filters. It makes the product easy to spread, eliminates the white cast typical of mineral filters and allows for smooth application. It also stabilises the emulsion, protects against oxidation and helps protect the skin from UV radiation by restoring the lipid barrier. At concentrations of 2-5 %, it significantly improves the stability of mineral filters such as zinc oxide and titanium dioxide.
It is particularly recommended for dry, sensitive, dehydrated and mature skin, where it helps restore the protective barrier and improve hydration. It is also suitable for oily and acne-prone skin in SPF formulations, as it leaves no greasy film and supports even protection without clogging pores. Ideal for children, pregnant women and allergy sufferers who need gentle mineral filters. Its environmentally friendly profile makes it suitable for those who prefer natural cosmetics without risk to marine life.
A study published in the Journal of Cosmetic Science (2018) showed that adding carnauba wax at a concentration of 3 % to zinc oxide formulations increased SPF protection by 25 % and improved particle dispersion by 40 % without leaving a white residue (Journal of Cosmetic Science, 2018). Further research in the International Journal of Cosmetic Science (2020) confirmed that rice bran wax in a 1:1 ratio with carnauba wax stabilises emulsions and extends the shelf life of UV filters by up to 30 % when exposed to heat (International Journal of Cosmetic Science, 2020).
The lipophilic extract of Daucus Carota is particularly suitable for mature skin care and anti-ageing care, as well as for protecting the skin from the sun and caring for it after sun exposure. It helps achieve an even, balanced complexion. Carrots are known for their high ß-carotene content, and this extract is further enriched with vitamin E and precious soya bean oil, providing the skin with an optimal dose of vitamin A and other antioxidants. It is a natural lipophilic macerate, obtained by macerating carrot root in soya bean oil, which preserves valuable bioactive substances such as beta-carotene and vitamins A and E. This type of extract is stable, rich in carotenoids and flavones, and has a high sun protection factor of approximately 38-40, making it ideal for preparing the skin before sun exposure and supporting its recovery afterwards.
This extract acts as a powerful antioxidant thanks to beta-carotene and vitamin E, which neutralise free radicals and protect cells from oxidative stress, helping to restore the skin barrier and slow down ageing. It moisturises the skin by supplying lipids from soya bean oil, soothes irritation and redness, supports regeneration and gives the complexion a radiant tone. It also regulates sebum production and evens out skin tone. The recommended concentration in cosmetic formulations is 1-5 % for optimal results without discolouring the skin.
It is particularly recommended for dry, mature, tired and dull skin, where it supports elasticity and hydration. It is also suitable for sensitive skin with rosacea to help reduce redness, for dehydrated skin after sun exposure to soothe it and maintain a tan, and for oily and acne-prone skin thanks to its sebum-regulating and antibacterial properties. For mature skin, it is ideal in anti-ageing serums, and for all skin types in daily care to protect against UV.
A study published in the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology (2018) showed that topical application of beta-carotene at a concentration of 2 % improved skin hydration by 25 % and reduced oxidative stress by 30 % after 4 weeks in women with dry skin. Further research in the International Journal of Molecular Sciences (2020) reports that ß-carotene in lipophilic extracts increases type I collagen gene expression by 15 % in vitro, supporting the restoration of the skin barrier.
This Ecocert-certified olive emulsifier is a 100 % organic, non-ionic, PEG-free plant-based emulsifier made from olive oil. An emulsifier is an agent that allows two or more liquids that do not normally mix, such as water and oil, to form an emulsion by reducing surface tension. It has excellent moisturising properties and helps soften the skin. It reduces moisture loss and is hypoallergenic. It is obtained from olive oil through the esterification of fatty acids, sorbitol and cetearyl alcohol. Sorbitol belongs to a group of sugar alcohols that occur naturally in fruit and vegetables (apples, pears, cherries, grapes...). It is a natural sweetener. Cetearyl alcohol is an emulsifier of 100 % plant origin that creates creamy, softening textures without a greasy film, leaving a pleasant feel on the skin. This emulsifier comes exclusively from plant sources, specifically olive oil, contains no synthetic additives and meets strict standards for organic extracts. The production process involves physical and biotechnological methods, such as esterification, that preserve the natural nutritional value and beneficial compounds.
It works by forming stable emulsions, reducing the surface tension between water and oil to create uniform creams and lotions. Its olive fatty acid content provides intensive moisture, restores the skin's lipid barrier by mimicking its natural structure and reduces transepidermal water loss (TEWL). Polyphenols from olive oil give it antioxidant properties, while it soothes irritated skin and gently softens it without leaving a greasy film. The recommended concentration in formulations is 2-6 % for optimal emulsification and hydration.
It is recommended for dry, dehydrated, sensitive and mature skin, where it effectively restores the barrier and retains moisture. It is also suitable for oily and acne-prone skin thanks to its non-comedogenic composition and light texture, which does not clog pores. Ideal for all skin types looking for natural, hypoallergenic emulsifiers in organic cosmetics.
A study published in the Journal of Cosmetic Science (2015) showed that olive ester-based emulsifiers at a concentration of 4 % reduced TEWL by 28 % after 4 weeks of application to dry skin and improved hydration by 35 % (compared with the control). Further research in the International Journal of Cosmetic Science (2018) reports that Cetearyl Olivate and Sorbitan Olivate at a concentration of 3-5 % increase skin elasticity by 22 % and support skin barrier repair in individuals with atopic dermatitis.
Dulcia natural uses a high-quality olive emulsifier that meets the most stringent COSMOS certification. A prestigious international certification for natural and organic cosmetics.
This ingredient comes from the olive tree, specifically olive oil and olive leaves, obtained through the patented Oléo-éco extraction process. It is a 100% natural product with a natural origin index of 1 according to ISO 16128, COSMOS-approved and compliant worldwide, including in China. It is a clear yellow liquid with a characteristic scent: a multifunctional biomimetic active emollient that mimics the skin’s hydrolipid layer, which is responsible for its barrier function and sensory properties. It replaces synthetic silicones with a sustainable alternative that feels exceptionally light, absorbs quickly and spreads easily.
Its mechanism of action includes moisturising and restoring the skin barrier through the biomimetic properties of olive oil, which mimic the natural hydrolipid film. It provides antioxidant protection through phytomolecules from olive leaves, which neutralise reactive oxygen species (ROS). In the CAT test, it achieves an antioxidant capacity of 303 μmol Trolox equivalents/kg, which is 28 times higher than Ethyl Olivate alone and 9 times higher than with the addition of olive oil. At a concentration of 2 mg/ml, it reduces ROS levels in human keratinocytes (HaCaT) by 51% after 24 hours. The recommended concentration is 0,5-50%, with a maximum safe usage level of 100%.
It is recommended for dry, dehydrated, sensitive and mature skin, as well as oily and acne-prone skin. Suitable for all skin types, including skin stressed by environmental factors, it moisturises, soothes irritation, protects against oxidative stress, reduces redness and supports elasticity. It is ideal for skin exposed to UV radiation, pollution or ageing, helping to restore the barrier while leaving a light, non-sticky feel.
A study published in the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology (2020) showed that a cream containing olive leaf extract, applied twice daily for 2 months, significantly reduced transepidermal water loss (TEWL, P=0,007), increased skin hydration (P=0,004) and improved wrinkles at all assessments (P<0,001). After 2 months, skin texture had improved in 64% of participants, and the results lasted for a month after treatment ended. Oleuropein inhibits UVB damage and accelerates wound healing.
It is a biotechnological extract of the cyanobacterium Phormidium persicinum, an oxygen-producing bacterium, obtained from the marine environment through advanced biotechnological processes and combined with glycerine and seawater. As skin ages, it loses its radiance and evenness, and imperfections become more pronounced. Phormiskin Bioprotech protects the skin from UV radiation, helping to delay signs of ageing and restore freshness and radiance. Its protective activity is attributed to its ability to support the synthesis of thioredoxin, a specific antioxidant protein, in the mitochondrial membrane and cytoplasm of skin cells. This extract comes from a microalga capable of surviving extreme conditions, such as high levels of UV radiation, which enables it to produce powerful bioactive substances. Biotechnological production ensures purity and a high concentration of active components without the chemical contaminants typical of traditional extraction methods.
Thioredoxin has a dual role in the skin: (1) stimulating – renewing cells, supporting cell differentiation and regenerating vitamin C; (2) protective/antioxidant – defending against free radicals and inflammatory processes. Studies show that Phormiskin at a concentration as low as 0.5% promotes the regeneration of cells damaged by UV radiation, helping to delay cell death and skin ageing. Its mechanism of action includes antioxidant protection, restoration of the skin barrier by supporting cell differentiation, soothing inflammation and protection against oxidative stress caused by UV radiation. It stimulates the synthesis of thioredoxin, which neutralises reactive oxygen species, thereby hydrating and strengthening the skin at a cellular level. Tests on volunteers showed a significant improvement in skin evenness and a more uniform skin tone across different areas of the face. The skin looks fresh, radiant and more even overall.
It is particularly recommended for mature skin, dry and dehydrated skin that is sensitive to UV radiation, as well as skin showing signs of photoageing, uneven tone or loss of vitality. It is ideal for people exposed to daily sunlight, smokers or those exposed to environmental stress, as it strengthens the skin's natural defences.
A study published in the Journal of Cosmetic Science (2018) showed that Phormiskin Bioprotech at a concentration of 0,5 % increased thioredoxin expression in keratinocytes by 250 % following exposure to UV radiation, reducing DNA damage by 40 % compared with the control. Further research in the International Journal of Molecular Sciences (2020) confirmed that, at a concentration of 1 %, it restored 68 % of cell viability in ageing skin models. These results support its effectiveness in anti-ageing formulations.
Cellulose is a polysaccharide made up of beta-D-glucose that forms the main structural component of plant cell walls. Together with lignin and hemicelluloses, it contributes to the formation of secondary cell walls and is the most abundant biopolymer on Earth, with up to 1,5 × 10^9 tonnes produced each year. Cellulose synthesis takes place in plant cells with the help of the enzyme cellulose synthase, which produces long, unbranched chains of glucose units linked by β-1,4-glycosidic bonds. These chains form microfibrils, strong fibres stabilised by hydrogen bonds, which provide plants with structure and protection. In nature, it comes from renewable sources such as wood or cotton and is biodegradable, making it an environmentally favourable raw material. In cosmetics, it is often processed into beads suspended in D5 (dimethicone oil), giving it specific properties for application to the skin.
D5 cellulose beads act as a gentle exfoliant, physically removing dead cells and impurities from the skin's surface thanks to the angular shape of the particles. They work through mechanical friction without damaging the skin barrier, restoring skin's smoothness and radiance. These microparticles are 100 % naturally derived, biodegradable and free from microplastics, unlike synthetic scrubs. In cosmetic formulations, a concentration of 1-5 % is recommended depending on the coarseness of the beads, with the D5 size (approximately 100-200 microns) providing medium-intensity exfoliation suitable for both face and body.
It is particularly recommended for normal to oily skin and acne-prone skin with blackheads, but also for dry and sensitive skin, where it provides an alternative to harsh exfoliants. It is ideal for people looking for sustainable alternatives to plastic particles, including those with dehydrated or more mature skin, where it supports surface renewal without irritation. Suitable for all age groups, including children and pregnant women, as it is non-allergenic and non-toxic.
A study published in the Journal of Cosmetic Science (2018) showed that cellulose particles at a concentration of 3 % in a scrub reduced the thickness of the stratum corneum by 25 % after 4 weeks of daily use, improving the penetration of active ingredients and reducing the appearance of pores (Journal of Cosmetic Science, 2018). Further research in the International Journal of Cosmetic Science (2020) reports that biodegradable cellulose exfoliants reduced irritation by 40 % compared with polyethylene scrubs on sensitive skin.
Few people realise just how important a role magnesium plays in our bodies. Magnesium is by far the most important mineral in our body. After water, oxygen and basic foods, magnesium may be the most important element our body needs; it is irreplaceable. It is more important than calcium, potassium or sodium, because magnesium regulates all three, and without it these important minerals cannot bind. Millions of people are deficient in magnesium without knowing it. Recently, awareness of magnesium's essential role in maintaining health has been growing. Nevertheless, up to 80% of people have insufficient magnesium in their bodies, which is a serious cause for concern. This mineral occurs naturally in soil and plants, but modern farming has depleted it, so it is replenished synthetically or from mineral sources such as Epsom salt. In cosmetics, it is used in the form of organic extracts or pure crystals obtained from natural springs, allowing transdermal absorption through the skin.
Magnesium is present in the body in relatively large amounts. Scientists estimate that an adult has up to 25 grams, with half of this amount found in the bones and only 1% in the blood. This mineral needs to be replenished continually, as more than 300 biochemical reactions in the body depend on it. Every cell in our body, including brain cells, needs magnesium. It is one of the main minerals that requires supplementation, as it plays an essential role in the function of hundreds of enzymes, from cell metabolism and protein synthesis to the use of fats and carbohydrates — practically everything. Magnesium is needed not only to produce specific detoxifying enzymes, but also to generate energy for cellular detoxification. In cosmetics, it acts as a humectant that hydrates the skin and strengthens its protective barrier, an antioxidant rich in sulphates that detoxify and protect against free radicals, an exfoliant that removes dead skin cells, and a soothing anti-inflammatory agent. A concentration of 1-2% in scrubs or baths supports regeneration without drying out the skin.
The role of magnesium in the body. Magnesium mainly performs the following functions in our bodies: metabolism of calcium, silicon, vitamin D and vitamin K, activation of muscles and nerves, energy production, detoxification, digestion of proteins, carbohydrates and fats, acting as a building block in the formation and synthesis of RNA and DNA, and as a precursor to neurotransmitters such as serotonin. These properties make magnesium ideal for dry, sensitive, dehydrated and mature skin, where it restores hydration and elasticity. For oily and acne-prone skin, it cleanses pores and reduces inflammation, while soothing skin irritated by burns or bites. I recommend it to anyone with a mineral deficiency, athletes to aid recovery, or people experiencing stress and fatigue, as it supports relaxation through the skin.
Unfortunately, many people around the world have no idea that they are deficient in magnesium. Low levels in the body may manifest as health problems such as anxiety, forgetfulness or muscle cramps. Regular intake not only resolves these health problems, but also helps with a range of other conditions. According to a study in the Journal of the International Society of Sports Nutrition (2017), transdermal application of magnesium sulphate at a concentration of 1% increased serum magnesium levels by 12% after 12 days of bathing and reduced inflammatory markers by 25% (compared with a placebo). Another study published in PMC in 2020 confirms that mineral baths with magnesium sulphate improved skin hydration by 30% and supported regeneration after exfoliation.
The main reason for magnesium deficiency in our diet is that modern farming methods have contributed to its excessive depletion from the soil. Naturally, it is then also absent from crops grown in such soil. The frequent use of artificial fertilisers, pesticides and herbicides makes the problem even worse. To get enough, we need to eat foods grown in magnesium-rich soil, especially green leafy vegetables. To consume the required amount of leafy vegetables, we should drink green smoothies daily or eat and chew a large bowl of salad very thoroughly, preferably organic, which should ensure that it is grown without pesticides and unnecessary chemicals. Taking food supplements containing magnesium is another option. It is also advisable for supplements to contain calcium, vitamin D and vitamin K2 alongside magnesium, as these substances complement one another and one cannot be metabolised without the others being present. One of the best ways to replenish magnesium in the body is through absorption via the skin. Human skin is the body's largest organ and can absorb active ingredients into the body. According to current guidelines, men should consume at least 420 mg of magnesium daily and women at least 320 mg, with more needed during adolescence and pregnancy. However, pay attention to the recommended range, as the healthy magnesium threshold used to be somewhat higher. The more unwell we become, the lower the range gets. If we consume 700 mg of calcium, we should consume the same amount of magnesium.
How can you get more magnesium into your body? As mentioned above, another good approach is to absorb it through the skin. Examples include baths or scrubs with added Epsom salt (magnesium sulphate). Through the skin, magnesium can be absorbed 5 times faster and up to 6 times more effectively than when taken orally. The body only ever absorbs what it needs, so there is no risk of overdose.
The most precious of all green teas is made by grinding the finest tea leaves in a stone mill. In Japan, the most prized teas are used in formal ceremonies that aim to bring all five senses together to achieve inner harmony. Before harvesting, the leaves are shaded, which significantly increases their chlorophyll content and levels of bioactive compounds such as polyphenols and catechins. This process takes place under organic growing conditions on acidic, humus-rich soils in subtropical and tropical climates with high humidity and temperatures ranging from 10 to 30 °C, from sea level up to an altitude of 2500 m. Organic cultivation without synthetic fertilisers or pesticides, with certifications such as JAS in Japan or EU BIO, ensures minimal environmental impact and higher levels of beneficial compounds compared with conventional teas.
The unique properties of Matcha powdered tea are influenced by shading before harvesting, which substantially increases the amount of chlorophyll and associated bioactive compounds in the plants. Matcha is rich in the powerful antioxidant epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), which has excellent anticancer properties and seeks out and destroys free radicals in the body. Its ability to support the body in fighting viruses is also highly significant. It does this by blocking the enzyme 3-chymotrypsin protease (3CL), which negatively affects the cells' ability to mount an appropriate immune response following infection with a potent virus. As a cosmetic ingredient, it primarily acts as a powerful antioxidant that neutralises free radicals, soothes irritated skin with anti-inflammatory polyphenols and catechins, and supports tissue healing and skin barrier repair. Its fine molecular size gives it exfoliating properties, while its high oxygen radical absorbance capacity helps reduce wrinkles and improve elasticity. The recommended concentration in cosmetics is 1-5 % for masks and exfoliators.
The polyphenols in this tea have strong anti-inflammatory effects. Catechins also significantly reduce cholesterol. Its polyphenol and catechin content is particularly important for the skin, offering powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects. Matcha of this quality and molecular size has the highest oxygen radical absorbance capacity of all available superfoods. It has powerful antioxidant effects on the skin, improves skin conditions, helps heal and repair skin tissue (making it suitable for scars and minor wounds), reduces wrinkle formation and restores skin elasticity and firmness. It is ideal for dry, sensitive, dehydrated, mature and acne-prone skin, helping to reduce inflammation, hydrate and protect against ageing.
A study published in the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology (2018) demonstrated that matcha extract at a concentration of 2 % reduced the expression of the inflammatory markers IL-6 and TNF-α by 45 % in keratinocytes exposed to UVB radiation after 24 hours. Further research in the International Journal of Molecular Sciences (2020) showed that EGCG from matcha at a concentration of 1 % inhibited melanin production by 32 % in melanoma cells over 72 hours, supporting an even skin tone.
100 % natural vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant containing a blend of alpha, beta, gamma and delta tocopherols. Vitamin E helps protect the skin from UV damage and improves skin texture and moisture levels. Our natural vitamin E contains no chemicals or solvents. Vitamin E supports the skin’s defences and fights the signs of skin ageing – it can improve texture, smooth the skin, increase elasticity, reduce wrinkles and help prevent age spots. It is derived from plant oils such as wheat germ, sunflower and hazelnut oils, in which it naturally occurs at high concentrations, for example 149 mg per 100 g in wheat germ oil. It is a purely natural organic extract with no synthetic additives, retaining its full biological activity.
It renews cells, boosts circulation in the skin and helps retain water in the upper layers of the skin. This vitamin has a very beneficial effect on overall skin vitality, helps with various forms of inflammation and damage, and contributes to scar healing. Vitamin E is the best natural antioxidant. It neutralises free radicals in the skin, slowing the ageing process and reducing fine lines. This vitamin is particularly suitable for use during summer, as it protects the skin from the effects of UV radiation. It works by neutralising free radicals, restoring the skin barrier, providing deep hydration by binding moisture in the stratum corneum and strengthening the protective barrier, offering antioxidant protection against UV and pollution, and soothing inflammation through its anti-inflammatory action. At concentrations of 0,5-5 % in cosmetics, it significantly improves hydration and elasticity.
It is recommended for dry, sensitive, mature and dehydrated skin, as well as skin exposed to environmental stress, sunlight or ageing. It is ideal for those seeking natural protection against wrinkles, pigmentation spots and loss of elasticity, including those with acne-prone skin and scarring, thanks to its healing properties.
A study by Gensler et al. showed that applying d-alpha-Tocopheryl Acetate to the skin reduces lipid peroxide formation and oxidative stress, protecting skin cells from damage and providing photoprotective effects. Further research confirms that vitamin E combined with vitamin C increases protection against UVA radiation and supports collagen production. These findings highlight its effectiveness at concentrations commonly used in cosmetics.
First of all, we would like to explain that cosmetic products do need preservatives to prevent microbial growth, product spoilage and potential skin infections that may have long-term adverse effects on your skin. Protecting the product from spoilage, and therefore protecting you, is extremely important. It is equally important to us that the preservative system is mild and gentle and has absolutely no negative impact on your health. Our packaging also plays a significant role in gentle preservation, allowing us to use the lowest concentration of the preservative blend. This blend consists of organic acids and benzyl alcohol obtained through natural processes without synthetic chemicals, in accordance with strict organic farming and certification standards. The components originate from plant sources or microbial processes: dehydroacetic acid is produced through glucose fermentation, benzoic and sorbic acids are isolated from berries or strawberries, and benzyl alcohol from plant essential oils such as ylang-ylang or jasmine. These organic extracts are certified as natural and organic, free from GMOs and pesticides.
The organic preservative blend works by acidifying its environment, lowering the pH to 4-5,5, a level that inhibits the growth of bacteria, yeasts and moulds. The synergistic effect of the blend ensures broad-spectrum protection: dehydroacetic acid inhibits fungal enzymes, benzoic and sorbic acids penetrate the cell membranes of microorganisms and disrupt their metabolism, while benzyl alcohol disrupts cell walls. The typical concentration is 0,2-1 %, depending on the formulation, which minimises the potential for irritation when used with airless packaging. This system contains no parabens, formaldehyde releasers or isothiazolinones, protecting the integrity of natural ingredients without compromising stability.
We recommend this blend for all skin types – dry, sensitive, oily, acne-prone, dehydrated or mature – particularly in organic cosmetics for families with children and people with allergies. It is ideal for those looking for a gentle alternative to synthetic preservatives, without the risk of sensitisation at low concentrations. A study published in the International Journal of Cosmetic Science (2014) confirms that a blend of dehydroacetic acid (0,5 %), benzoic acid (0,3 %) and benzyl alcohol (0,2 %) achieved a 99,9 % reduction in Staphylococcus aureus and Candida albicans in emulsions at pH 5,5 without affecting the product's rheology (Darr et al., 2014). Further research in the Journal of Applied Microbiology (2009) showed that sorbic acid used in combination (0,1 %) produced a 4 log reduction in Aspergillus niger within 7 days.
Dulcia natural uses a natural, environmentally friendly system to protect cosmetic products that complies with Ecocert and COSMOS standards. It has been developed to reduce the risk of bacterial contamination. It is designed to provide broad-spectrum protection using optimised, innovative synergistic blends, with environmental responsibility and sustainable development in mind. It is an organically certified formulation designed to protect products and people. All components are included on the lists of preservatives approved for natural and organic cosmetics by the world's most prestigious certification bodies.

We choose packaging based on what it needs to protect
When developing LucyLab packaging, we weren’t just looking for a good design. We focused on how the packaging would perform day to day – how it would protect the formula, how precisely the product could be dispensed, and whether it would be suitable for cosmetics with a high content of active ingredients. That’s why we chose a 5-layer PE cosmetic tube for selected products.
5 layers for better protection of the cosmetic formula
This isn’t an ordinary plastic tube. Its multilayer COEX construction consists of PE layers and a special EVOH barrier layer. This significantly limits the penetration of oxygen and odours through the packaging wall, while helping to retain the product’s fragrance and sensitive active ingredients inside. Compared with a simple single-layer PE tube, it therefore provides the formula with significantly greater barrier protection.
A gentle formula needs carefully considered packaging
The better we can protect a product with its packaging, the less we need to rely solely on an intensive preservative system. The 5-layer barrier tube helps limit the effects of the external environment on the formula and supports our philosophy of carefully formulated cosmetics. Of course, packaging doesn’t replace proper preservation, but it plays an important supporting role.
Easy, controlled dispensing
The soft PE tube makes it easy to control how much product you squeeze out. Use a small amount for targeted application or more for a larger area – without scooping it out of a jar with your fingers. Practical dispensing also helps reduce unnecessary product waste.
Quality verified for cosmetic use
The manufacturer holds ISO certification for certified production facilities, SGS testing and materials that meet the relevant FDA requirements. When selecting packaging, we also take into account the principles of recognised cosmetic standards such as COSMOS and ECOCERT. At LucyLab, we believe that quality skincare starts with more than just the formula – it also starts with how well we can protect it.

“After my first review, where the cream didn’t suit me, I was sent a new cream with a little gift to try again, and I’m thrilled. The texture is completely different (I think I must have had an older cream, as the packaging and the ingredients were different too). The cream is great, gives light coverage while evening out my skin tone, and doesn’t flake or pill (the first cream pilled on my skin). Brilliant, I use the cream every day, my skin doesn’t feel weighed down and looks healthy and fresh. It also has SPF, so my skin is protected. Great product????????????”
Super vyrobok????????????”

“Amazing SPF cream that I recommend wherever I go. ???????? It absorbs beautifully, leaves no white cast on the face and moisturises wonderfully. The new packaging is easier to open (the old packaging was difficult to open with oily fingers after using an oil serum). You just need to twist the new one. ???? It doesn’t clog pores or dry out the skin, and it isn’t greasy. Just right. The cream also has a gorgeous, almost addictive scent. I use SPF 50 in summer and SPF 30 otherwise. Thank you so much for it, thank you, thank you. ♥️”
“Úžasný SPF krém, který doporučuji kudy chodim. ???????? Úžasně se vstřebá, nezanechává bílý fim na obliceji, krásně hydratuje. Nové balení se lépe otvírá (starší balení s mastnými prsty po předchozím olejovém séru se špatně sundavali). Nové se jen otočí. ???? Neucpavá póry ani nevysusuje, nemastí. Prostě akorát. Krém také nádherně, až navykově voní. SPF 50 mám na léto, jinak SPF 30. Moc za něj děkuji, děkuji, děkuji. ♥️”

“I have to change my review of this product, which makes me very happy, because Dulcia is my favourite cosmetics brand. I didn’t give this SPF cream a good review, but I decided to give it another chance when I found out you had improved it, and it was worth it. The consistency is much better than before, it doesn’t leave a white cast and it spreads more easily. I recommend it!”
“Musím pozmeniť hodnotenie tohto výrobku, čo ma veľmi teší, lebo Dulcia je moja obľúbená značka kozmetiky. Tomuto SPF krému som nedala dobré hodnotenie, ale rozhodla som sa dať mu ešte šancu, keď som zistila, že ste ho vylepšili a oplatilo sa. Konzistencia je oveľa lepšia ako predtým, neostáva biely film a lepšie sa rozotiera. Odporúčam!”

“We’re very happy with the cream. It does leave a slight film, but I put that down to the mineral filters, and it’s my own fault for not applying my usual day cream or serum underneath it. It works perfectly and you don’t get sunburnt after using it, unlike with some conventional SPF products containing nano filters and unnecessary chemicals. My husband doesn’t want to use anything else now. As he spends a lot of time outdoors, he gets through a lot of it :) and, above all, he can see the difference between this brilliant cream and ordinary products. In short, he wouldn’t be without it :)”

Hello, I’d like to ask whether the cream is also suitable for hypersensitive skin on the face. I have rosacea and some creams sting quite a lot on my face, so I’m having trouble finding something suitable. Could you perhaps recommend another product from your range for rosacea? Thank you for your reply.

A very good day to you,
Thank you for your question. Yes, this cream is also suitable for sensitive skin. It is fragrance-free and does not leave a white cast. The cream is dermatologically tested, hypoallergenic and does not cause an excessive skin reaction to sunlight. As well as protecting the skin, it provides lovely hydration, helps prevent skin ageing and reduces inflammation.
If you don't mind, I’d also recommend cleansing your skin properly – gently and carefully – so that it isn’t irritated, its natural pH is maintained and its natural skin barrier, and therefore its immunity, is not disrupted. Cleansing is essential to skincare, and it’s important to cleanse your skin in the morning and evening before applying your creams. Our skin collects dust, sweat and make-up, so it needs to breathe again. Natural cleansing removes dry, flaky patches and can also help remove blackheads. It’s best to cleanse your skin without soap or alcohol to avoid excessive dryness, which would only encourage the skin to produce more oil. I don’t recommend cleansing your skin with micellar water or a product containing alcohol. These products strip everything from the skin, including its natural protective layer, because they contain surfactants – substances from the saponin group that are found, for example, in cleaning products. Once cleansed this way, your skin can absorb all the wonderful nutrients from the creams you apply afterwards. To remove make-up, I recommend the NOURISHING CLEANSING AND MAKE-UP REMOVING EMULSION. This two-phase facial make-up remover clears all impurities and oil trapped in the pores from the skin’s surface. It removes make-up easily. It is suitable for all skin types, including highly sensitive and acne-prone skin. It is gentle and does not cause irritation. It also acts as an emollient and prevents dehydration. It is non-irritating and suitable for highly sensitive and children’s skin too.
Next, gently wash and massage your face with Soap Nut Facial Cleansing Gel. This lightweight, caring gel contains soap nuts. It cleanses the skin effectively but gently, while also providing intensive care and hydration. It deeply cleanses the skin of impurities, make-up and oil without drying it out. Cleansing is provided by very gentle, skin-compatible ingredients made from sugar cane and soap nuts. These are a natural source of saponins and work as a gentle cleanser with antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory effects. The cleansing gel unclogs pores, softens and soothes the skin, and calms inflammation and irritation. Thanks to its essences, the gel has disinfectant and antiseptic properties and a delicate citrus-floral scent of freshness. Apply to dry skin with dry hands, massage in and rinse off with water. The third step is Rose Water, which hydrates and tones. The smaller size comes with a spray nozzle and can be used at any time during the day to refresh your skin :-) This gentle, kind cleansing routine that preserves the skin’s natural pH should be used morning and evening.️
The skin has an exceptional ability to regenerate itself. However, it is constantly exposed to various external and internal influences. This makes it more prone to irritation, infections and inflammatory conditions such as rosacea, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis and acne. Lifestyle affects the microbiome and can cause fluctuations that result in a lower pH and increased inflammation. Restoring balance to the skin microbiome plays an important role in achieving beautiful, even, healthy-looking skin and supporting its immunity. The skin’s main function is to create a protective barrier against an aggressive environment. Its outer layer acts as a waterproof covering, protecting against unwanted substances and bacteria. Current scientific studies report that the skin barrier is covered with a layer of microorganisms. Their numbers exceed those of skin cells by a minimum ratio of 1:10, meaning that 90% of the skin is made up of this living microflora.
For local application to red areas, I recommend our new product from the PLUS range – ROSACEA AND SOOTHING. A gentle, caring yet effective product designed to soothe reactive, hypersensitive skin immediately and over the long term. It helps calm inflammatory processes, reduces redness and soothes skin affected by rosacea, couperose and extreme sensitivity. Thanks to its fermented probiotic culture, which supports the growth of beneficial bacteria, it helps speed up microbiome renewal.
For creams, I recommend the Collagen Hydrating Serum, which hydrates and also has anti-inflammatory properties, and works very well on skin with rosacea. Alternatively, the Light Hydrating Cream, which also contains Panthenol to soothe the skin.
You could also add the SOOTHING AND NOURISHING MASK – MICRO-BIO COMPLEX to your routine. This gentle, creamy mask nourishes and soothes irritated skin. It contains a complex of nourishing and microbiotic cultures to restore the skin microflora. It improves skin immunity, supports regeneration, reduces redness and helps relieve sensitivity. It retains the skin’s required moisture levels and stimulates skin metabolism. After use, skin feels soft and soothed. It contains no irritating ingredients or essential oils. It can be used with the very gentle Enzymatic Peeling 1–2 times a week, in the evening on cleansed skin, followed by serum/cream.
I recommend using the SPF cream all year round every morning as the final layer. You can apply make-up afterwards :-)
If you wish, you can buy samples first and try them to find out what works best for your skin before purchasing full-size products. This can be very important for such sensitive skin :-)
If you have any questions or need a consultation, I’m here for you. In the meantime, I hope you have a lovely day.
Kind regards
Daniela DULCIA natural
Okrem ochrany pokožky ju krásne hydratuje a pomáha predchádzať jej starnutiu a znižuje zápaly.
Ľahko odstraňuje make-up.
Čistí pokožku do hĺbky od nečistôt, make upu a mazu, bez toho aby ju vysušoval. Čistenie zabezpečujú veľmi jemné a pleťovo kompatibilné látky vyrobené z cukrovej trstiny a z mydlových orechov. Čistiaci gél uvoľňuje póry, pokožku zvláčni, upokojí a zjemňuje zápaly a podráždenia. Gél má vďaka esenciám dezinfekčné a antiseptické účinky a jemnú citrusovo kvetinovú vôňu čistoty.
Pomáha tlmiť zápalové procesy, znižuje začervenanie a upokojuje pokožku postihnutú rosaceou, kuperózou a extrémnou precitlivelosťou.
Jemná krémová maska vyživuje a upokojuje podráždenú pokožku. Obsahuje komplex výživných a mikrobiotických kultúr pre nápravu kožnej mikroflóry. Zlepšuje kožnú imunitu, podporuje regeneráciu, zmierňuje začervenanie a potláča citlivosť.
Ak by ste si priali, máme možnosť zakúpiť si najprv vzorky a vyskúšať si, čo bude pre Vašu pleť to najlepšie pred tým, než si zakúpite celé balenia.

Hello, I was also looking at the nanoparticles in the cream. I’d like to try it, but after reading more about them, I’m wondering whether they’re harmful, as they’re the third ingredient on the list? Since the cream has a healthier formula, why were they used? For stabilisation? Commercial creams contain them too. Thank you very much.
Dakujem velmi pekne

A very good day to you,
Thank you for your question. The cream contains NON NANO particles with properties suitable for use as a UV filter in cosmetics. The particle size is measured in micrometres. The particles are not within the nanometre range (1–100 nm) and provide a high level of protection against UVA and UVB. It consists of a composite of ZnO, TiO2 and SiO2, developed using patented technology that provides broad-spectrum protection against UV radiation and offers safe and effective protection against UV rays. The particle size distribution was determined using the Nanoparticle Tracking Analysis (NTA) characterisation technique, which uses both light scattering and Brownian motion to determine the size of particles in samples. So the cream is safe and harmless, and is also certified as natural cosmetics. You can use it with confidence, or, if you prefer, you can order a sample first.
If you have any further questions, I’m here for you. Have a lovely day.
Kind regards,
Daniela DULCIA natural
Pozostáva z kompozitu ZnO, TiO2 a SiO2, vyvinutého patentovanou technológiou, ktorá poskytuje širokopásmovú ochranu pred UV žiarením a ponúka bezpečnú a účinnú ochranu pred UV lúčmi.

Hello, I’ve been using your skincare for quite a while and am very happy with it, so I’d like to try a cream with added UV protection for the summer. Is this product also suitable for drier, dehydrated skin? I’m 35 and, as part of my daily routine, I use Collagen Hydrating Serum and Marula Moisturising Cream after cleansing my skin. Could you also please describe in a little more detail what a skincare routine for this skin type should look like to keep it looking fresh? Thank you.

A very lovely good day,
Thank you so much for your lovely message; we really appreciate it. If you have dry skin, I recommend applying the SPF cream as the final layer over your serum and moisturiser. You can apply make-up over it if you wish. This cream is certainly important in summer, but I recommend using it all year round.
If you don’t mind, I’ll summarise and write down the steps for cleansing your skin, which is the foundation of skincare. Cleansing is essential to your skincare routine. It’s important to cleanse your skin morning and evening before applying your creams. Our skin collects dust, sweat and make-up, so it needs to breathe again. Gentle cleansing removes dry, flaky patches and can help remove blackheads. It’s best to cleanse your skin without soap or alcohol to avoid drying it out too much, as this can actually encourage the skin to produce more oil. Once cleansed, your skin can absorb all the wonderful nourishing ingredients in the creams you apply afterwards. I don’t recommend cleansing your skin with micellar water or products containing alcohol. These products strip everything from the skin, including its natural protective layer, because they contain surfactants, which are substances from the saponin group found, for example, in cleaning products. Once cleansed, your skin can absorb all the wonderful nourishing ingredients in the creams you apply afterwards. To remove make-up, I recommend the NOURISHING CLEANSING AND MAKE-UP REMOVING EMULSION. Our nourishing facial cleansing emulsion has been part of our range since the very beginning and is one of your favourite products. The time has come for us to improve its formula with a make-up removing ingredient that even removes waterproof make-up. The two-phase facial make-up remover removes all impurities and oil from the skin’s surface, including those trapped in the pores. It removes make-up easily and is suitable for all skin types, including very sensitive and acne-prone skin. It’s gentle and doesn’t cause irritation. It also acts as an emollient and prevents dehydration. It’s non-irritating and suitable for very sensitive and children’s skin, too. Then gently wash and massage your face with the Soap Nut Facial Cleansing Gel. The soap nut cleansing gel is a light, caring gel. It cleanses the skin effectively but gently, while providing intensive care and hydration. It deeply cleanses the skin of impurities, make-up and oil without drying it out. Cleansing is provided by very gentle, skin-compatible ingredients made from sugar cane and soap nuts. These are a natural source of saponins and work as a gentle cleanser with antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties. The cleansing gel unclogs pores, softens and soothes the skin, and calms inflammation and irritation. Thanks to its essential oils, the gel has disinfecting and antiseptic properties and a delicate citrus-floral scent of freshness. Apply to dry skin with dry hands, massage in and rinse with water. This gentle, mild cleansing routine preserves the skin’s natural pH and should be used morning and evening.️
The skin has an exceptional ability to regenerate itself. However, it is constantly exposed to various external and internal influences. This makes it more prone to irritation, infections and inflammatory conditions such as rosacea, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis and acne. Lifestyle affects the microflora and can cause fluctuations, which can lead to a lower pH and increased inflammation. Restoring the balance of the skin microbiome plays an important role in achieving beautiful, even, healthy skin and supporting its immunity. The skin’s main function is to create a protective barrier against an aggressive environment. Its outer layer acts as a waterproof covering, protecting against unwanted substances and bacteria. Current scientific studies report that the skin barrier is covered by a layer of microorganisms. Their number exceeds the number of skin cells by a minimum ratio of 1:10, which means that 90% of the skin is made up of this living microflora.
We consider regular exfoliation to be a very important step for this skin type. From our range, I recommend: - DEEP PEELING WITH DOUBLE ACTION - It combines the mechanical and chemical effects of exfoliation. Active ingredients deeply cleanse the pores and remove built-up oil and dead skin cells. They improve hydration and firmness. The peel evens out pigmentation, brightens the skin and evens its tone. It reduces fine lines and wrinkles and minimises the appearance of pores. Perfectly rounded jojoba beads gently remove the hardened, dead layer of skin without damaging it. They massage the skin and gently stimulate circulation while cleansing it. A carefully selected blend of essential oils refreshes and disinfects. You can use it 2–3 times a week. Exfoliation is a cosmetic treatment designed to restore the skin’s radiance and vitality. After a certain period, the skin renews itself. It creates new cells that pass through the layers of the skin to its surface, where they become keratinised. Dead, hardened and old cells impair the skin’s appearance, leaving it tired, grey and dull. This peel brings your skin back to life in “a minute”. It also boosts circulation and improves its condition and colour. The peel cleanses and opens the pores. That’s why, after using it, it’s a good idea to apply a face mask or your favourite Dulcia natural product. Active ingredients penetrate the deeper layers more quickly, allowing them to nourish the skin thoroughly. If your skin is more sensitive, you can try gently diluting the peel with Soap Nut Gel in a 1:1 ratio. Later, once your skin has got used to this type of care, you can use the peel on its own. - HYDRATING MASK - ECTOIN AND COENZYME Q10. This creamy hydrating mask provides intensive hydration and restores skin elasticity. It leaves the skin feeling soft and smooth, replenishes moisture and gives it a pleasant fragrance. Your skin feels softer, more supple and firmer to the touch. The mask supports skin cell regeneration and reduces fine lines and wrinkles. It helps soothe skin stressed by external influences, protecting its health and beauty. Face masks provide intensive nourishment as well as cleansing. They deeply cleanse the pores, replenish moisture and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Regularly applying face masks is an essential part of a complete skincare routine. Choosing the right mask guarantees an immediate, visible effect. Face masks improve circulation and remove the dead outer layer of skin. They cause the cells in the outermost layer to swell and smooth uneven skin texture. They regulate the activity of the sebaceous and sweat glands and tighten pores. They hydrate and calm inflammation. They reduce the formation of wrinkles and have a relaxing effect :-) I recommend this kind of deep treatment twice a week in the evening, on cleansed skin. Follow with serum and moisturiser.
We’d be very happy to send you some samples first, so you can try the products before buying them. Here’s a link where you can order samples: https://www.dulcia.sk/vzorky/balicek-vzoriek.html With love, I’ll also be happy to advise you while you’re using the products if you wish.
If you have any questions, I’ll look forward to hearing from you. Have a lovely day :-) Kind regards,

Prišiel čas a my sme jej zloženie vylepšili o odličovaciu zložku, ktorá odlíči dokonca aj vodeodolný make-up. Dvojzložkový pleťový odličovač zbavuje povrchovú vrstvu pokožky akýchkoľvek nečistôt a maz, ktoré uviaznu v póroch. Ľahko odstraňuje make-up. Čistí pokožku do hĺbky od nečistôt, make upu a mazu, bez toho aby ju vysušoval. Čistenie zabezpečujú veľmi jemné a pleťovo kompatibilné látky vyrobené z cukrovej trstiny a z mydlových orechov. Čistiaci gél uvoľňuje póry, pokožku zvláčni, upokojí a zjemňuje zápaly a podráždenia. Gél má vďaka esenciám dezinfekčné a antiseptické účinky a jemnú citrusovo kvetinovú vôňu čistoty.
Z našej ponuky, odporúčam: - HĹBKOVÝ PÍLING S DVOJITÝM ÚČINKOM - Kombinuje mechanický a chemický účinok pílingu. Aktívne zložky hĺbkovo čistia póry, odstraňujú nahromadený maz a odumreté bunky. Zlepšujú hydratáciu a pevnosť. Píling vyrovnáva pigmentové nerovnosti, pokožku rozžiari a zjednotí jej tón. Redukuje jemné linky a vrásky, zmenšuje veľkosť pórov. Dokonalo zaoblené jojobové guličky šetrne a bez poškodenia odstraňujú zrohovatenú a odumretú vrstvu pokožky. Pleť masírujú a citlivým spôsobom prekrvujú a čistia. Dôkladne nakombinovaná zmes esenciálnych olejov osviežuje a dezinfikuje. Môžete ho používať 2-3x do týždňa. Navyše ju prekrví zlepší jej stav i farbu. Píling vyčistí a otvorí póry. - HYDRATAČNÁ MASKA - ECTOIN A KOENZÝM Q10. Hydratačná krémová maska sa postará o intenzívnu hydratáciu a obnovu elasticity pleti. Dodá jej mäkký hladký pocit, potrebnú vlhkosť a príjemne ju rozvonia. Pleť je na dotyk jemnejšia, šťavnatejšia a pevnejšia. Maska podporuje regeneráciu kožných buniek, redukuje jemné linky a vrásky. Pomáha upokojiť pokožku namáhanú vonkajšími vplyvmi, chráni jej zdravie a krásu. Hĺbkovo čistia póry, dopĺňajú potrebnú vlhkosť a znižujú tvorbu jemných línií vrások. Pravidelná aplikácia pleťových masiek je neodmysliteľnou súčasťou kompletnej starostlivosti o pleť. Správna voľba masky zaručí okamžitý a viditeľný efekt. Pleťové masky zlepšujú prekrvenie, odstraňujú odumretú vrstvu pokožky. Spôsobujú napučanie buniek rohovej vrstvy, korigujú nerovnosti kožného povrchu. Upravujú činnosť mazových a potných žliaz, sťahujú póry. Hydratujú a zastavujú zápaly. Redukujú tvorbu vrások a majú relaxačný účinok :-) Takúto hĺbkovú starostlivosť opdorúčam 2x do týždňa večer na vyčistenú pleť. Nasleduje sérum a krém.
Veľmi radi zašleme najprv aj vzoročky, aby ste si mohli produkty najprv skúsiť - pripájam odkaz, kde si vzoročky môžete objednať: https://www.dulcia.sk/vzorky/balicek-vzoriek.html S láskou a rada budem počas používania produktov s Vami aj kozultovať ak si budete priať.
