• 100% BIO cold-pressed prickly pear oil: a precious oil from the seeds of the Opuntia ficus-indica cactus. It is especially rich in linoleic acid, alongside oleic acid, vitamin E in the form of tocopherols and plant sterols. This combination nourishes the skin barrier, helps reduce moisture loss and supports a smooth, supple, youthful and firmer-looking complexion. In a laboratory study, the oil limited the formation of glycation products and protected cells from oxidative damage caused by glycated proteins. Glycation can gradually affect collagen’s suppleness, making this effect particularly beneficial in care for firmness and signs of ageing. Another study found that it supported wound closure and processes associated with collagen formation, antioxidant protection and the regulation of the inflammatory response. A further preclinical study confirmed that prickly pear oil helped the skin’s surface recover faster and had a beneficial effect during the healing process.

Texture

This exceptionally light dry oil spreads over the skin in a silky-thin layer and absorbs comfortably without feeling heavy or greasy. It leaves skin satin-soft, supple and naturally radiant. A few drops can be used on their own or mixed into your favourite cream.

How to use

In the morning and evening, apply a few drops to your skin or hair and massage in gently. You can also mix it with your face cream.
The glass pipette with automatic dispensing is ready to use as soon as you open the packaging and dispenses approximately 0,25 ml of oil. This means you don’t have to scoop the oil out of the packaging with your fingers.
