This lightweight liquid foundation combines medium coverage with the comfort of hydrating skincare, leaving skin with a soft satin finish. Pigments help to even out the complexion, while hyaluronic acid and glycerin help maintain hydration and a blend of oils softens the skin and protects it from uncomfortable dryness. The formula is enriched with Alaria esculenta seaweed extract and BIO Sacha Inchi oil, rich in unsaturated fatty acids. The foundation blends easily into the skin, allowing its natural character to show through while softening the appearance of lines accentuated by dehydration. The result is an even, supple and fresh-looking complexion, without a heavy feel.

Key ingredients

• Hyaluronic acid: binds water and helps keep skin hydrated, supple and visibly smoother. In a study involving 76 women, hyaluronic acid improved skin hydration and elasticity after 60 days. Two low-molecular-weight forms also measurably reduced the depth of wrinkles around the eyes.
• BIO Sacha Inchi oil: a precious oil from the seeds of an Amazonian plant, naturally rich in linoleic and alpha-linolenic acids. It softens and nourishes the skin, helping it retain a comfortable, supple appearance. In a clinical study with 13 volunteers, it improved hydration and the appearance of dry skin after 14 days.
• Alaria esculenta seaweed extract: an innovative marine ingredient that helps skin look smoother, firmer and more youthful. Laboratory research showed that the extract was able to limit the production of progerin in mature skin cells. Levels of this protein increase in skin cells with age, disrupting their proper function and being associated with premature ageing, reduced regeneration and a gradual loss of firmness.
• Glycerin: one of the formula’s main hydrating ingredients. It draws water into the upper layers of the skin and helps prevent the foundation from looking dry or tight.
• BIO apricot, avocado, sesame, olive and argan oils: a blend of lipids that softens and nourishes the skin and helps keep it supple. It supports smooth, creamy application and helps the foundation blend comfortably with the skin.
• BIO cocoa butter: gives the formula a richer nourishing feel and helps soften dry patches where foundation can settle unevenly.
• BIO rose water: forms part of the foundation’s water base and adds to its hydrating, refreshing character.

Texture

The lightweight fluid texture glides smoothly over the skin, creating a thin, flexible layer with medium coverage. It blends naturally into the skin, feels weightless and enhances its fresh satin finish. You can gently build coverage in areas that need more evening out.

How to use

Apply a small amount of foundation and blend thoroughly. Use a foundation brush or a damp make-up sponge. For a more natural result, apply one thin layer. For areas that need more coverage, gently build up the foundation by patting it on. Blend the edges carefully along the hairline, jawline and neck.

Foundation does not replace daily protection against UV radiation. During the day, use it with an SPF product.
