BlueShield® is a patented ingredient that protects the skin against the two main harmful effects of blue light—photooxidation and disruption of photoreceptors. Thanks to its powerful antioxidant strength, BlueShield® specifically protects cellular DNA and collagen from oxidation and degradation. And thanks to its super-protective filtering power, it shields the skin’s photoreceptors (opsins) from stress, preserves vital skin functions related to DNA, and thereby prevents skin damage and aging caused by digital pollution. This innovative blend is derived from an extract of Capsicum annuum pepper fruits, enriched with glycerin as a humectant and xanthan gum as a stabilizer. It is a biotechnologically processed plant bioextract that meets natural cosmetics standards, where plant extracts are obtained by extraction using natural solvents such as ethanol or oils. This origin guarantees high biological activity and skin-friendliness, without the use of synthetic harmful additives.

The mechanism of action of BlueShield® lies primarily in its strong antioxidant protection, which neutralizes free radicals triggered by blue light and prevents photooxidation. It restores and strengthens the skin barrier by protecting collagen from degradation and supporting cell vitality. At the same time, it soothes skin exposed to the stress of digital pollution by filtering harmful effects on photoreceptors. The glycerin in the formula moisturizes and binds water in the skin, thereby preventing dehydration.
