Goat milk
BIOCaprae Lac
It contains highly valuable proteins such as casein, globulin, and albumin, and it is also rich in minerals such as calcium, magnesium, potassium, and phosphorus, as well as vitamins A, B1, B2, B12, C, D, and E, and easily digestible fats. In addition, it contains AHA acids (specifically lactic and citric acid) and folic acid, which hydrate and soften even dry skin and also have an antibacterial effect. Goat milk is also rich in antioxidants, ceramides, and coenzyme Q10, which fight signs of fatigue and skin aging. A natural source of fatty acids and triglycerides supports skin nourishment, while B vitamins contribute to its revitalization. These ingredients are obtained directly from goat milk, ensuring natural bioavailability without synthetic additives.
Its mechanism of action lies in intensive hydration thanks to lactic acid, which acts as a humectant and attracts moisture into the skin. It restores the skin barrier through ceramides and easily digestible fats that strengthen the lipid layer. As an antioxidant, it protects vitamins A, C, and E against free radicals, slowing down aging. It gently exfoliates by removing dead cells with lactic and citric acid, thereby improving skin texture. It soothes with anti-inflammatory properties, reducing redness and irritation. In cosmetics, it is typically used at concentrations of 5-20% in creams and soaps for an optimal effect without overloading the skin.
It is recommended for dry, sensitive, dehydrated, problematic acne-prone skin, as well as for mature skin prone to wrinkles. It is ideal for people with eczema, psoriasis, or sunburn, where it soothes and regenerates. It is also suitable for allergy sufferers because it does not cause irritation and balances the skin’s pH. For oily skin, it helps regulate bacteria and minimize clogged pores thanks to its antibacterial and exfoliating properties.
A study published in the Journal of Dairy Science (2015) showed that goat milk containing lactic acid at a concentration of 2-5% increases skin hydration by 25% after 4 weeks of application in subjects with dry skin. Another study in the International Journal of Cosmetic Science (2018) reports that vitamin A from goat milk in 1% formulations supports collagen production by 18% and reduces wrinkle formation.
